The next day at school was worse than the day before

After hearing the words I had longed to hear for so long, facing you became much harder

I closed my eyes, not really knowing what to expect. But, can you blame me? Everything was just so sudden

And out of nowhere, I felt your arms wrap around my waist as you pulled me into your chest

In front of everyone

You held me in your arms

I don't think I'd ever felt happier than in that moment

Because, in your arms, I felt safe, I felt warm and loved

Finally, after what felt like a million years, I pulled away and looked at you

And you said you loved me too
