Epilogue

*finally edited after its been over a year*

It's been five years since we both completed our studies, six years since we started dating, and 20 years since you became my best friend

(y/n is 23 now cuz 18 at graduation and do the rest of the math and they were 3 when they met)

And still to this day you remind me how beautiful I am every morning. I don't doubt it anymore because you taught me what it's like to love myself. You taught me what it's like to be happy, and I love you so much for that

For our anniversary we decided on keeping it simple and going to a nice restaurant. You looked as handsome as ever and I wore a simple red dress. I found it on the bed when I woke up with a little note that I knew was your handwriting. A bit messy with a little heart at the end

You pulled out the chair for me. "(Y/N), you are the most beautiful woman in this entire restaurant," you playfully whispered into my neck

Even though I've heard you say those words, they always have the same effect on me. I couldn't help but blush

The waiter came with the drinks we ordered when we arrived

A water for me, and an iced tea for you

Your silliness is one of the many things I love about you. A grown man ordering iced tea

There was a sudden weight in my chest. I needed to tell you something important, but I wasn't sure how you'd feel about it.

"Tae?"

You looked me in the eyes, a bright smile dancing on your lips, "yes?"

"I have to tell you something important, and I don't know how you're gonna feel about it"

I bit my lip slightly, I was so worried

You reached your hand across the table and grasped mine

"Babe, unless you tell me that you're being possessed by an alien or a demon or something, there's nothing you could tell me that will make me stop loving you"

I laughed

"You're such a dork. But it could wait until after dinner, okay?"

"That's fine with me babe"

We smiled at each other, and the rest of our meal we spent laughing and talking about new drama at work. It was so much fun, but that lingering feeling in my chest remained

We walked, hand in hand, down the little path in the park

It was more crowded than usual but I paid no mind to it

We sat at a nearby bench

"Tae"

"Yeah?"

I closed my eyes and exhaled

"Wait (Y/N) can I tell you my thing first?"

"You were gonna say something?"

You nodded and I found it irresistibly adorable

You got on your knees and out of no where, six boys started singing behind you

"(Y/N), Its been six years since we've started dating, and I loved every single day. All those days we spent laughing and talking were amazing because I got to spend it with you. I could never imagine a day without you because your my reason to live. You're the reason I love waking up every single day and your the reason why I am where I am today. So," you opened a little black box "will you marry me?"

I started tearing up "Yes"

You slid the ring on my finger and the six boys behind you clapped and cheered

"Tae, I still need to tell you something"

I looked into your eyes and held your hand

Author's POV

(Y/N) held Taehyungs hand

"I'm pregnant" she whispered

There was a silence between them, even the six boys stayed quiet

He couldn't believe what he just heard

"Wait what?" he asked

"I said I'm pregnant"

The words flew around his head. He's always wanted children

"I'm gonna be a dad?"

Taehyung had the biggest smile on his face, he was happy

(Y/N) couldn't hold her tears in "Yes"

He laughed as he hugged her, tears coming out of his eyes

"I cant believe it, I'm going to be a dad!!!"

He stood up and hugged her harder than before, both of them crying happy tears

He loved her more than anything and the fact that she was carrying his child made him the happiest man on earth

As the six boys said goodbye, (Y/N) and Taehyung walked, fingers interlocked, to their car

They sat inside and stared into eachothers eyes

They were looking at their soul mate, their entire world

They knew that they were meant to be together, forever and always
