ch 2

I woke up early today and got dress. I thought today is the perfect day explore around. I grab my phone from the night stand and unplugged it. I then made my way down stairs and grab some breakfast. Once i was finished eating I put my things in the sink and made my way towards the door,opening it and stepping out closing it behind me after. I then started walking down the street the same way we came here. Everything look so pretty. And the weather felt good too. In a way it felt like home only a little hotter. I kept on walking when I felt a presence come along beside me,scaring me half to death. I look over my shoulder and saw that it was only the guy from last night. Ethan I think it was.

"I didn't mean to scare you"

I blush, i didn't even know he saw that. " its okay "

"So where are you going this early in the morning?"

"Just exploring the city since I'm new and don't know where anything is"

"Nice. Then let me be your tour guide and show you all the incredible places we have here in Cali."

" sure okay "

We started to walk in silence neither one of us knew what to say. As we approach the corner Ethan started pointing and telling me what each of the buildings were. I just nodded and kept on walking. To the right of us was this cute little cafe shop. I decided that tomorrow I'm going to there. We kept on walking and Ethan kept on naming the buildings until we arrive at a small park. The park was that big but it wasn't small either. I'm definitely taking carter here when him and my mom fly up. We walk over to the swings and sat down. At first it was kind of awkward just sitting there slowly swinging my legs until Ethan spoke up.

"So is it just you and your dad living here?"

" oh no my mom and brother are living with us too.  But they are still in Florida for the week."

"Oh nice."

"So did you live up here your whole life?"

"Pretty much "

"Nice. Its so beautiful here"

"Just like you" he mumbles under his breath.

The rush of the day was filled with laughs, screams and games on the play game. Ethan was actually pretty fun to be around. This could be the start of a great friendship. Its now going on to around 5 and me and ethan decided to call it day and head back.

"Do you want to go back to my house and hang out for a little bit?"

"Sure"

I then pull out my phone and text my dad telling him that im going over to Ethan house for a little bit. A few minutes later he replied with a "okay sweetie have fun" I close my phone and put it in my pocket and follow Ethan to his house.

After a short walk we arrive at his house. He open the door and held it open for me to go in. I smiled and walk in saying a quick thank you.

Once we were both in he went to tell his mom that he was home. I decide to look around a little. I walk into a room I'm assuming was the living room. It was very pretty, there was a gray couch with a matching love seat. In the middle of the room was a coffee table. The walls were painted a creme color and was decorated with photos. I was looking at a photo of three kids. I guess these were Ethan's brother and sister. His sister is so gorgeous.

"That's me and my brother Grayson and our sister Cameron" Ethan said behind me making me jump a little.

I stop staring and turn around to face him. "You guys seems close with each other"

"We are. We can go to the basement and hang out if you want."

"Sure that's fine."

I follow Ethan down to his basement where his brother and sister were also.

"Hey guys." Ethan said when we got down there. I stand behind Ethan awkwardly not knowing if he was going to introduce me or if i had to do myself.

"Hey E " they said in unison. Then they notice me.

"Ethan who's the girl?" Grayson said looking at me.

"This is Brielle townsen. She our new neighbor " he said pointing to me. I gave them a smile and a wave.

" I'm Grayson and this is our sister Cameron. Nice to you and welcome to the neighborhood." Grayson said

"Nice to meet you to and thank you"

We just got done our fourth game of uno. When the boys got tired of playing. They got up and walked over to the Xbox and started playing a game. I never Truly understand video games and why boys love them so much. I stayed back with Cameron and made some small talk. It turn out me and her had a lot in common.

"Do you want to pull a prank on them? " cameron asked.

I looked out them then back to her. Shrugged and said, "sure"

We quietly snuck out of the room and ran to her to plan out our prank. Or pranks. After awhile of thinking and looking for a prank to do we just decide to take their nerf guns. Lucky Cameron knew where they kept guns out and we started loading them up. We then went to look for some camo to wear but we couldn't find any in her closet so we went to the boys closet and so enough we found one in Grayson's for Cameron and then one for me in Ethan's. Along with that we also found some bandanas. We put them around our heads like gysps. We then took Cameron's eyeliner and drew two thick straight lines on both our cheeks. Then we quietly went down stairs, cameron leading the way.

"Cameron what are you doing?" Her mom asked.

" me and brielle are going to attack the boys" 

I came out from behind her and smile.

"Oh you must be the new neighbors daughter. So nice to meet you I'm Lisa and my husband name is Sean." She smiled.

" nice to meet you too Lisa"

Cameron grab my arm and we quietly made our way down to the basement. We peek around the corner and saw the boys where at the same place where left them. We look at each other and made signals on which boy we will take. She wanted Grayson so I got Ethan. We counted to three and jump out and started shooting them. They scream and look back at us. We continue to shoot until we ran out of. Bullets.

"Im going to get you for this " they said in unison.

We scream and started running up the stairs, them right behind us. We didn't know where to go in the house so we just kept running out the door and running to the park. We were half way there when we stop to catch our breath. We look behind to see if we saw the boys, but they were no where in sight. We sat under a tree just catching our breaths.

"Do you want to swing?" Cameron ask after awhile.

" sure"

We race each other to the swings.  We sat on the swings and just talk. We were for sure thought we lost the boys when someone out of nowhere came up behind us.

"Boo" they said at same time. We weren't really scared because we knew it was them but for the sake of it we fake scream and got up. We turn around and saw ethan and Grayson laughing.

"Ha ha you got us " caneron said.

"Yeah we did" they said.

I giggled and look at my phone and saw that it was almost 8. I had to get home. Even though I don't have a curfew its a new town and i don't know my way around it yet. So I try not to stay out too late. And plus tomorrow I start my first day at the high school.

"I have to head home. Thanks for letting me come over and hang. I had a lot of fun."

"We had a lot of fun too. We have to hang out more often. "

" most definitely. " I wave goodbye and start walking home. It was a lot of fun hanging with me. I can already tell that we all are going to be best friends. Maybe moving here won't be bad after all.

When I got home I went straight up to my room. I look at my self in the mirror when I realise I still had on Ethan's shirt and bandana. I quick took a selfie and then I strip down and put on my pajamas. I decided that i would wash his shirt and bandana first before I give it back to him. I then brush my teeth. I set my alarm and close my eyes, falling into a peaceful sleep.
