'Lexi's pov'
"WAKE UP! WAKE UP!"
"I heard you the first time mum." I shout down back to her from my bedroom.
All of a sudden my bedroom door slammed open and my 6 year old brother ran in to my room and jumped on top of me shouting "happy birthday Lexi"
"thanks buddy" i replied as i push him off me onto the other side of my queen sized bed and starts laughing.
I quickly get up off the bed and run in the on suite bathroom and locks the door stopping him from getting in. I wait until I know his is gone to unlock the door and get my clothes then go for my shower.
Once I get out of the shower I dry body and get dressed into some light blue ripped jeans, a black and pink long sleved crop-top say whatever on, then straighten my blonde red dip dyed hair.
As soon as i was done with my hair, I go down stairs and see my twin brother matthew or matt for short, sat at the table eating pancakes, he didn't even notice I was in the room until I stole a pancake of his plate.
He just looks at me shaking his head and smiles at me. "why are u upset?" i asked see the sad look on his face.
"why are u not upset? we have got to go to school on our birthday but no you are happy as can be" he answerd "Well I like school most of the time and I get to see all my friends on my birthday so that's why I'm happy" I answered "Well your just a weirdo then sis" he says like I don't know that "Yh well being normal is overrated and boring so I'm proud to be weird" I say back with a bit of sass. "Well little miss sassy u better finish getting ready as we have go to be at school in half and hour" he tells me putting his now empty plate into the sink and walks out of the room.
I run out of the kitchen to the front door and get my black and pink Nike trainers then run back to the kitchen. "Lexi stop running in the house" my mum shouts as she walks down the last few steps with two boxes in her hands one in pink the other blue. "Sorry Mum" I apologise to my mum and sit on the kitchen stool and put on my trainer then Mum shouted me and Matt in the living room. Once we had walked in the living room i see 6 boxes 3 pink and 3 blue. "Come on then are you going to open your presents or not?" my mum says impatiently. "Yes Mum" me and Matt say at the same time. I go and sit in front of the pink boxes and Matt sits in front of the blue boxes. I open the smallest boxes first which was a silver love heart necklace with daughter writen in the middle, the second present I open was some clothes two dresses that look as if they go up to mid-thigh, also in the box was two pairs of black shinny jeans, a pink crop-top and a red crop-top. The last present I open was a rose gold iPhone 7s. I jump up and run to my Mum giving her a big hug "thank u, thank u, thank u I love u so much" i say gleefully. I start to setting up my new phone and Matt opens his presents. Matt got some clothes, a new watch and an iphone 7s but his one was in black.
once Matt had opened all his presents Mum tells us that there is still one more present for us and that our step-dad Owen has them outside. So me and Matt run out side to see two cars the bows on them one with a blue bow and one with a pink bow so we know which one is who. The one with the pink bow on it is my favourite car of all time, it's a black 2009 rouse stage 3 mustang.

I scream and run to my new car looking into it throw the windows and see the leather seats. My mum walks up to me and hands my the keys, I give her the a hug "thank u and I love u so much" i tell her.
"your welcome but u better hurry up as u have got to be in school in 15 minutes" she replies with a smile across her face.I run inside and grabs my leather jacket and my school bag with my books in. "Bye Mum, bye Owen" i shout and jump into my new car just before I pull off I see Matts car driving out of the driveway, I pull off and starts to follow him to the school.
When get to school everyone is staring at our new cars. I find a parking space close to the front of the school, I get out of the car to go into school not forgetting to lock the car as I don't want it to get robbed.
Once I get into school I go to my locker and I put in the books I don't need for the first two lessons. As soon as I close my locker I turn around to see my friends Becky, Shyann, Becca and Bella which made me jump as I didn't know they were there. "Happy birthday" they all suddenly scream. "Thanks guys but now the whole school knows" i say to them annoyed. They say "sorry" "So what u doing tonight for your birthday?" shy asks ( shy is short for Shyann) "I've got nothing planned for tonight" I answered her "I know I know" Becca suddenly says I turned to her confused "what" i asked worried "I know what we should do for your birthday, we should go to Conner's party tonight"she says to me. " Conner's having a party tonight?" I ask confused to why his having a party on a Monday night. Conner is a senior and the captain of the football team, he is always throw party and is a bit of player as he has slept with half of the girls at the school. "Yh everyone is taling about it, yesterday he turned 18 but he can't have the party then as his parents wanted to go out to dinner with him" she tells. "I don't know if we should go I mean we are not invited are we" Bella says nervously, she has never been to a party before she is more of a stay at home and watch netflix kind of girl. "We don't need to be invited all Conner's party's are open invites" Becky says happily, Becky's the party girl of the group, I like to party to but not as much as her every other night she is out partying but me it's only on weekends.
"Come on guys it's Lexi's birthday she needs to have some fun she is finally 18" Becca implies trying to convince us to go.
Suddenly the bell goes "look guys lets talk about this at break we need to get to class" I tell them as I don't want to be late to maths because our teacher mr fish will give you detention just for being few minutes late. "Fine"Becca mumbles annoyingly. "Come on guys we don't want to be late to mr fish's class now do we" shy say trying to get us to hurry up We all run to class as we only had 2 Minutes get there before we get a detention. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hope you like the first chapter.
