chapter 3

Connors pov.

I take a sip of my beer (gross) and laugh as my best friend and bata Jack trys to hit on a random girls at my party and i suddenly get hit with the most wonderful sent of apples and my eyes snap to the door as the most beautiful girl I have seen walks into my house "MATE" my wolf seth growls at me. I watch her walk on to the dance floor with her friends. Her hands going above her head and her hips moving to the beat. "You okay Conner" Ethan calls.
"I'm fine" I reply handing my beer to him and walking over to my mate is dancing. "Hey pretty lady" I whisper in her ear as I wrap my arms around my waist. She jumps in surprise of the suddenly contact and turns around to face me and smiles "hey handsome wanna dance with me?" she asks
" i sure do" I reply and dancing along with her. I take her hand and spin her then pulling her into my chest putting my hands onto her hips and she puts her arms around my neck as we sway to the music. I lean forward hearing her heart start to race I whisper "wanna get a drink".  She nods I lead her into the kitchen and pour us both a drink. She jumps onto my kitchen counter, I walk in between her legs and hand her the drink. " what's your name beautiful?" I ask.
"Its Lexi, what's yours?" She ask
"Conner" I say looking into her gorgeous clear blue eyes. She looks down biting her lip. "So it's your party" she states. "It is" I smile admiring her beauty. I lean in to kiss her, I softly press my lips against hers and she kisses me back. I bite her bottom lip asking for entrance which she granted, I pull her closer to me as the kiss speeds up I hold her hips tightly. We kiss for a few minutes when she push me away jumps off the counter. "I - I gotta go" she rushes out before running out the room, I stood there confused for a good few minutes before running after her but she was already gone. I walk over to my friends. "Hey man where did you go" Ethan asks putting his arm around his mate Rose's waist. "I found my mate" I say still confused that she ran out on me. " that's amazing man" Ethan says happily putting rose closer to him " congratulations Conner" rose says hugging me, Ethan growls and pulls her back into him putting his face into her neck taking in her sent. "Thanks guys" I reply sadly "where is she Con?" Asks Jack, I look down "we were kissing then all of a sudden she pushed me away says she has to go and runs out" I reply confused and sad. I turn around and shout "party's over, everyone go now" I shout in my alpha voice. I walk outside take off all my clothes, shift into my wolf and run into the woods behind my house. What is she reject me? I think to myself. Seth growls at me " you can't let that happen we need her, I don't even care that she is human" " you think I don't know that I need her, i don't want her to reject me, I want her, shes my other half the mood goddess put us together for a reason" i snap at him closing our link, I run around the Forest until I've carmed down.

Lexi's pov
I dancing on the dance floor " hey pretty" someone whisper into my ear as they slip their arm around my waist I jumps and the sudden contact ready to have ago at this person when I see the hottest guy at the party I smile "hey handsome wanna dance?" I ask "I sure do" he replied taking my hand spinning me then pulling into his chest and putting his hands on my hips, I wrap my arms around his neck moving my hips to the best of the music. He suddenly starts to lean in, I can feel my heart to race omg omg omg Is he going to kiss me I think myself trying to stay carm but he just asks if I want a drink I nod slightly disappointed we go into the kitchen, he pours us both a drink of I don't know what as I jump onto the counter he walks over hands me my drinks and then stands in between my legs "what's your name beautiful" he asks "its Lexi, what's you?" "Conner" he replays I look down and bite my lip God his so hot I think to myself wait.... is this his party? I look up into his eyes "so its your party" I say "it is" he replys. He leans into kiss I freeze no knowing what to do but then he lips softly press against mine and I start to kiss him back and his lips are so soft. He bites my bottom lip asking for entrance which I gladly grant him. He pulls my closer to him by my hips as the kiss starts to get heated. Wait.. his a fuckboy he's just using me. I push him off me and jump down I look at him seeing a very confused face "I - I gotta go" I stutter and run out the room right up to where my friends and all standing and talking " we gotta go" I rush out " wait what why?" Becca ask "I'll tell you all later but we gotta go now" I say pulling the out of conners house and too my car jumping into the driver seat and speeding out of there home. I pull up at home and rush into my house after locking the car leave the front door open for the others and running up to my room grabbing my pjs and going into the bathroom to change and then going back to my room to see my friends all sat on my bed waiting for me to tell them all what had happened at the party.
