Running around

A whistle woke me up. I fell off of my barrel and onto my hands and knees. I got up and ran in the opposite direction. I was a troublesome kid. Stealing and getting into fights. Most people despised me.

I ran into a corner of a store and fell back on my butt. I was approached by a man in a red uniform. He grabbed my shirt collar and hoisted me up to his face. "What's a lass like you runin' about from the navy. Stealing is something that'll send you to prison. Should you be respecting your armies?" He voice was slightly gravely. I pulled away from his grip, but found that I was against a wall. "I haven't stolen anything. Well, this week." I said smiling devilishly.

"Sir, best not be messing with her now." It was a man with a red bandana, dreads, and a pirates hat. There was beads laced through his hair too. He had tan skin and a really scruffy facial hair. He punched the solider holding me and ran off with my hand in his hand.

He let go and I ran next to him. He led me toward the docks. "Lass, what might your name be? Because I'm Captain Jack Sparrow." He said while running. When we stopped "I'm......... Samantha........... no mom no dad." I said through heavy breaths. I rolled up my sleeve.

"Ahh. Well, when you can talk normally, I have something you'd like to know. I'm sure."

We walked onboard the Black Pearl. There were a few people walking around untying ropes and hoisting the sails. Jack walked up tot he wheel and spun it. "What is it that you were going to say now?"

"Well, Sami your a Sparrow. My daughter to be exact. Where's your mark?" I looked at him in awe. My eyes were probably as big as the wheel. I ran and hugged him.

He smiled and ran his fingers through my hair. "It's nice to feel that again. Why don't you go tinny cabin and get some rest. You're going to need it tomorrow. Were going to Torgtuga." I smiled and went to his cabin quickly.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep peacefully for once. I had been rescued by my father, that I thought was gone forever.
