On Plastic Beach, Noodle was staring out of a window watching schools of fish swim by. She was bored. She couldn't talk to Murdoc because they locked him up in a room to save 2D, Russel was out doing who knows what?, and 2D was losing his shit over a whale that swam by.
She yawned and stood up straight, stretching her arms and back.
I should check up on 2D.
She streched a bit more before making her way downstairs. She held her hand out to the wall to where her fingertips would touch the wall as she walked by. She reached the door to 2D's room and knocked.
No answer.
"2D? Are you all right?"
She knocked again and recieved no answer.
"I'm coming in, okay?"
She twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open. 2D was in a corner, losing all of his shit. She narrowed her eyebrows.
"2D it's okay, the whale isn't going to get you."
2D really lost it then and started wailing.
"Yeah!? 'Ow do yew know? W-What-HIC what if it c-comes busin' in 'ere!?-HIC."
Noodle rolled her eyes. She walked over to him and squated down in front of him. He looked up at her with tears rolling down his cheeks. She smiled and wiped his tears away. Still holding his face, she said:
"If it comes in here I'll beat it up for you."
There was a bit of silence.
2D smiled.
"M'kay."
Noodle pulled 2D into a hug but they kinda fell over and held each other on the floor while laughing.
"Don't worry about the whales."
