"Gotdamn it!"
2D threw his covers off of himself.
"Shit!"
He grabbed a random pair of pants that were lying on the floor and ran out of his bedroom. He stumbled up the stairs, trying to put his pants on while he was walking up. He didn't even bother to put a shirt on.
He told Noodle that he'd help her cook breakfast lastnight, but he woke up late.
He made it upstairs, still buttoning his pants up.
"Noods, I-I'm sorreh I didn't 'ear the alarm clock."
Noodle was standing in the kitchen. She was cooking breakfast already. She had her hair pulled up into a small ponytail, had a large white T-Shirt on, and pink and cream colored striped knee highs on. She turned around to look at 2D and smiled.
"It's okay, 2D. You really needed sleep after bawling your eyes out last night."
She turned back to the food she was cooking.
"Why don't you sit down? I'm almost done."
2D sighed, sat down on a stool at the bar-table, and laid his head down.
"'Fhanks for last night,Noods. I was 'eally freaked out."
Noodle handed 2D a plate of food and smiled.
"That's what friends are for, yeah?"
2D didn't know what to else to say to her. He just felt really bad for not waking up in time to help her cook.
Noodle brought her plate over and sat next to 2D. He was pushing his food around instead of eating it. There was something wrong.
"What's up?"
Noodle frowned and 2D looked at her and sighed.
"Nuthin' I jus-"
Noodle put her arm around him and smiled big.
"Stop your lyin', there is something wrong. Eat your food and then we'll talk about it, okay?"
"Aigh't."
They finished eating and Noodle had to fight to give Murdoc his food before going into the livingroom with 2D to talk about what's bothering him.
2D sat on the couch and soon Noodle did, too. She sat a bit close, though.
This made 2D nervous.
"Tell me what's wrong, Toochi."
She was looking right into his eyes. She found his eyes to be quite beautiful. One of a kind.
"I-I jus'- I dunno. Et's gettin' a bit lonely 'ere, yeah? I jus' feel a bit lonely."
2D felt really sad after he said that. He missed the hustle and bustle of the city. He missed seeing people.
Noodle put her hand on 2D's thigh and looked him straight in the eyes.
W-What the fuck is she doin'!?
"I'm here. I'm here for you. We'll get back out there some day, but for now it's just us." (Until Russel comes back.)
2D was sweating like crazy. Noodle was making him feel some type of way.
Noodle was blushing. She felt kinda hot, her heart was beating pretty fast, too. She leaned in and kissed 2D's lips.
