It was almost time for the young masters coming of age ceremony. Here, he would be meeting those who he will be having connections with in the future. If I were to describe the turmoil of emotions he was feeling then, nervous would be quite an understatement.
As the party was being prepped, maids and butlers running around for last minute details, the young master decided to take a stroll around the mansion he grew up in.
Being quite a rambunctious child, he had already explored, and found, every spot he could hide and not be found.
He climbed up one of the trees hidden behind the tallest tree. In this spot, he could see all throughout the garden and the mansion, all whilst not being seen.
The garden filled with deep, blood red roses, the leaves and bushes a fine, vivid green. In the middle of all of it was a relatively small stone fountain, a statue in the middle taking the shape of blooming flowers. The mansion was a decent size compared to most, several rooms with windows that oversaw the events occurring outside, but never saw the little boy occasionally hiding in the trees.
As he was sitting there, looking up at the blushing sky, he thought of all the responsibilities he would bare on his shoulders. Taking a deep breath, the young master then decided it was time to go back.
However, before he was able to climb down, someone called out, "Young master! We've been looking for you! Thank god you're okay."
It wasn't too surprising someone found him, after all its not that hard if you pay attention to your surroundings, but what did surprise him was the girl around his age standing in front of him.
She had an elegant braid of long, soft-looking hair, smooth skin, but hard-working hands. Her atture consisted of the usual maid outfit, however... He knew all of the maids and didnt recognize this young girl. Who was she?
Her cheeks seemed flushed, possibly from running around to find the young master, but he wasn't too focused on that, but rather her eyes.
They held hope and joy in them, a twinkle and shine which could light up a room. She was beautiful to him.
"-rry, you need to get ready! We only have an hour left until it starts!"
"Oh...oh! Okay, let's go!"
They both ran towards the mansion, the little girl having worry about the schedule while the boy was mesmerized by the other.
