Movie night. A tradition you and Tom had since you were 12. The only difference now is that this night would take place at his new apartment. You hadn't seen it yet but knowing Tom it would look great. Especially with help from his mom. You walked up to the door and knocked and could hear movement. It opened in a second and there stood his mom.

"Y/N dear how nice to see you." She hugged you tightly.

"It's good to see you Mrs. Holland." You answered back returning the hug.

"Don't worry I won't be here long. Just had to help Tom with some last minute touches."

"No it's fine. Where is he by the way?"

"In his room changing. I have to get going now but I'll see you very soon. I hope."

"Yes ma'am. Have a good night."

"You too dear. Can you tell Tom I say bye?" You nodded and she was out the door. You took off your coat and set it on a chair along with your purse. Walking around and looking. Then you saw a picture of you two together at the carnival from three years ago.

"I always did love that picture of us." Tom says making you jump a bit.

"Geez. You scared me."

"Sorry. Hey. How are you?" He laughed and gave you a hug.

"I'm good. I have to say Tom I love what you've done with the place."

"Thanks. Mom helped out a lot though. So what movie shall we watch today?"

"I'm thinking maybe a scary movie."

"Hm I like the way you think. Any preference?" You shook your head and he just popped one in. Turning off the lights and it began to play.

You thought you'd be bold enough to handle it but boy were you wrong. It had gotten to a specific part that made you jump and now you were basically all into Tom's side. Which he didn't seem to mind at all. After the movie was finally over he put in a comedy knowing that's what you'd like. During this movie you couldn't help but notice Tom looking at you every now and then.

"What?" You finally spoke up.

"Nothing."

"No come on Tom. Tell me."

Tom's P.O.V

"Okay. I know that we've been friends for a long time now and I love that. I just feel like there could be something more to us. Don't get me wrong I love being your friend Y/N but I want to be more with you. Only you. You're the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about before I close my eyes." I took her hands in mine and I could see her smile.

"Me and you I know this could and will work. We're young I know but I know that you're definitely the one woman I want to spent the rest of my life with. What I'm trying to say is-"

"Yes."

"What?"

"Tom. I know what you're trying to say and I don't know if you were going to get it out. So I'm saying yes I'll go on a date with you."

"You serious?" I asked both nervous and excited. Mostly more excited.

"No I'm lying. Of course I'm serious Tommy I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been thinking about you all the time too. You're cute and funny and extremely handsome."

"I'm glad you feel the same way. Would it be too much to ask to kiss you right now? Even though we haven't been on our date yet."

"I'd like that." I put my arm around her waist and pulled her closer to me and kissed he lips. Just liked I dreamed it. I could feel the fireworks and I hoped she did too. We pulled apart and looked at each other.

"That was one hell of a kiss." I smiled at her and kissed her cheek.

"You can say that again." She laughed.

"This is only the beginning."
