Chapter Nine - Mysteries

Jack ran over to Aislynn."What happened to her?" He asked, his eyes were glassy. "I don't know man, I heard a loud bang, ran down here and saw her on the floor" I replied. I decided to leave them alone. I went to the kitchen and noticed some things were missing. It instantly hit me. We were robbed.

Jack's POV
I picked Aislynn up and took her upstairs. I gently layed her in bed and put the blanket over her. I went to the bathroom and grabbed a cloth. I soaked it in cold water, then I brought it over to Aislynn and started cleaning the gash on her head. When I finished cleaning it up I crawled into bed beside her and fell asleep.

As the sun rose it lit up the room waking me up. I looked over at Aislynn. She was awake."Good morning my love, I hope you're feeling better" I said smiling at her. She put her hand on her hand "what happened? Why does my head hurt so bad?" She asked confused. I told her what happened."I honestly don't remember anything from last night besides the bath and swimming" she said giggling."Now lay down and take it easy for awhile" I said smiling again."Will do doctor Avery" she replied laughing with me. Zach, Grace, Daniel, Jonah and Corbyn all rushed into the room. "Aislynn are you ok?" "Oh my God Aislynn what happened?" "Aislynn I hope you're ok" everyone said crowding around her."I'm fine, really" she said reassuring everyone. After a little bit everyone left my room to go get something to eat. I stayed with Aislynn, making sure she was ok. Her and I were cuddling. She rested her head on my chest and I had my arm wrapped around her occasionally running my ringers through her hair. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of her."My favourite way to wake up" I put as a caption then posted it on snapchat."Aislynn grab your phone and check snapchat" I said smirking at her. I helped her up as her head still really hurt."She opened snapchat and then after a minute she looked at me and smiled."Awe babe" she said. She quickly took a picture of me and of course it was a bad picture. She sat there typing for a minute and wouldn't let me see."Check snapchat" she said giving me the same smirk I gave her. I opened snapchat again and looked at her story. "My favourite noodle head" was the caption."Really!" I said laughing. She laid down and rested her head back on my chest. Our day was really laid back. We didn't really do much but rest. Aislynn and I got out of bed and went down to the living room because we were getting tired of spending the day in my room. She flopped down on the couch beside Zach. I was in the kitchen getting something for us to eat. I could hear them talking. The living room and kitchen were right beside each other. Aislynn and Zach were best friends, they always ranted about random things to each other. They were also really close. I looked over and saw Zach on the end of the couch and Aislynn laying beside him. I came back into the living room with some soup for both of us. I sat on the couch that was beside the one Aislynn and Zach were sitting on. Once Aislynn finished she put her bowl on the coffee table and laid back down."Hey how are you feeling beautiful? is there anything I can get you?" I asked."No I'm good for now babe, I'm just tired" she replied smiling at me.

Aislynn's POV
I felt really tired. I was still really confused from last night. I was freezing but I didn't wanna move. I was in a ball in the corner of the couch trying to keep warm. Zach looked over at me and stared at me looking really surprised and concerned."Holy, Aislynn your lips are purple and your cheeks are red!" he said with wide eyes. Jack immediately looked over at me.  Zach ran upstairs to grab a blanket while Jack came over and sat beside me with his arms around me. Zach came back down with a blanket and wrapped it around me. I was snuggled in Jack, his arms still around me. I don't know why I got so cold all of a sudden. It was really weird. I tried not to think about it, but it kept going through my mind. Is there something wrong with me? Am I sick? Am I going to die?. Those thoughts kept going through my mind. I ended up falling asleep on Jack. His warmth was really comforting and so was his presence. Just having him around made me happy. After he realized I fell a sleep he picked me up effortlessly and carried me upstairs and tucked me into bed.

I know this chapter probably isn't that good but I've been really busy lately and it's been hard for me to write chapters.
