My Little Mermaid

Intro~

Melody's POV

As I stood on the shore the sea breeze blew my hair back, the sweet salty smell I love wafting in my nose. My love for the sea was just beyond compare. It's my safe haven where I feel like I truly belong.

Because I do.

I took one last deep breath of the salty sweet air before stepping into the water - thank God its early in the morning so no one can see me - I swam a bit further away from the shore. When I picked the perfect spot I took my finger and drew a pattern in the water. My family emblem started to glow in the water and then started to bubble and enclose my legs in foam. I felt my legs molding together and the scales start to cover them. As the water cleared all that was left was my shining blue tail.
