Something Is Not Right

Hye Ah is still busy helping her mother in the kitchen. They was about to make dinner. It has been a week after Myungsoo had left. Hye Ah decided to stay with her parents for a few days. She wanted to spend some quality time with her beloved parents.

"Are you done with the veggies, dear?"

"Yup! Here you go, mom~" Hye Ah said happily as she handed the chopped vegetables. "Need anything else, that I could do to help?"

"If you don't mind... Could you bring me the salt and some spices? It is inside the cupboard."

"Right away~" she walked to the certain cupboard and taking out the mention ingredients. When she was about to gave it to her mother, her head feel a sudden headache, and her throat become dry for some reason. She coughed a few times, making the mother looking back at her with concerned.

"Are you alright, dear?"

"Y-yeah... I'm fine..." The girl said weakly.

"Are you sure? You look pale..." The woman pointed out as she caressing the girl's hair still feeling worried. "I think, you better go to your room and get some rest. I got so worried if you get sick."

Hye Ah can only replied with a weak nod. She was about to walk to her room, when suddenly her gaze become blurry and her feet turned weak. Finally losing all her balance, she fall immediately to the floor unconscious.

Hearing the loud thud and a panic meow from Byul. Mrs. Park by instinct looking back and saw the unconscious body laying on the floor. Almost immediately, she screamed as loud as she could to get the attention of her husband as she held onto Hye Ah, panicking. She was just there, cradling Hye Ah like a baby in her arms still trying to examine Hye Ah's conditions. Thankfully the said man already running toward them. Without wasting times, they rushed to take Hye Ah to the hospital.

-At the hospital-

Mr. Park was pacing about nervously. While Mrs. Park were sobbing with her minds keep wondering about Hye Ah's conditions. Would she be alright? Is something serious is going to happened? Will she get better? So many questions inside her head.

Seeing his broken wife, Mr. Park went over to his wife and sitting down beside her to comfort the latter. Gently, he leaned the woman's head on his shoulder while ensuring her by say. "Don't worry... I'm sure Hye Ah would be alright..." It didn't mean that the man's mind would stopped thinking about their daughter. Worries is still surrounding them.

A few minutes had passed, and the door that connected to Hye Ah's room finally opened, revealing a man with white coat and glasses on his face. The man now approaching the parents.

"How is she, doc?"

"I don't want to say this, but... Your daughter diagnosing a very rare disease, and it is really difficult to cure." The doctor explained slowly, so that Mr. and Mrs. Park could understand his words.

"No... This can't be..." Mrs. Park mumbled, but you could hear her voice cracked slightly from the shock she gotten earlier. She felt something warm dripping from her cheeks. It was the tears that she's trying to contain since she saw Hye Ah's unconscious body.

"Please! Please save her, doc! She is the only daughter we had." Mr. Park pleaded. He is not ready to hear the doctor's statement. But, whatever happens, he still needs to know.

Before telling his conclusion about Hye Ah's conditions. He sighed deeply while his expression turned to saddened. "I know, Mr. Park... But unfortunately... The cure have not been found yet. There are only five cases that we already found from this disease. And none of them are cured. We apologize... But, there is nothing we could do."
