+ her father King Arther left his crown to her in his will
+ from a young age Jane followed her father into meetings and courthouses and generally shadowing him
+ said to have learned to speak, read, and write via political jargon
+ during her father's rule there was the first Lady Knight Susan that just so happened to be Jane's closest friend
+ even though many accused both of them of playing favorites Susan deserved her place and worked hard for it
