I stared at my reflection in the mirror, it didn't seem possible that this could actually be happening. I smiled as I twirled my dress back and forth, however, soon dread filled and all I could feel was their eyes staring at me. I tried to shake the uneasiness of the day. I knew I was ready but I wasn't used to all the attention. It was a bit daunting at first and I couldn't believe how it all just fell together. Such ease felt like a bad omen, I had to remind myself that it was fate that let everything worked out. Not everything in your life was going to be a catastrophic event.

"Are you almost ready?" Bailee asked, "I can run downtown and pick you up some heals"

"Almost, it's not the shoes I prefer not to trip on my wedding day, it's just," I stammered but before I could finish she was barging in.

"You look amazing!" Bailee exclaimed, "And I don't want to hear your just saying that because you're my sister..., its true" I shook my head at her, there was nothing either of us could say to change our minds. She stood behind me, moving pieces of my hair that had fallen down, striating my dress and my veil. I just studied her in the mirror.

"Nerves?" She finally asked. I just shook my head yes, "Come on, It's not every day my sisters a bride." Together we walked out, soon after my sister leaves my side and gets in her place in line.

"There is the beautiful bride," my dad called as he turned the corner, "You look gorgeous."

"Thank you dad," I blushed.

I watched them enter through the doors, knowing soon it will be me walking down that very aisle. As the music started, I couldn't seem to move I just stood still, staring straight ahead. It was my dad's soothing voice reminding me that he will be with me all the way that finally made me start to move toward my destiny.

I looked at Jake and my mind raced as I took my first step toward him. I gazed over at our family and friends, their eyes following me. I squeezed my father's arm and felt his words in my ears "We can just turn around, just one word." I looked at him, as tears began to form "This is what I want, it's just everyone is looking at me." My father held me tighter as we walked down the aisle. This is everything I dreamed of, I think, I can do it. I glanced at Jake, he looked so handsome in his suit. He smiled gently at me, he was so kind when it came to my nerves. Jake knew how hard this was for me and yet he was nothing but gentle words and reassurance when we were planning the wedding. My Father led me down to where my husband to be stood. The longer I stood next to him, gazing into his eyes the more I became at ease. My I do echoed in the small chapel. I blushed as he looked at me with admiring eyes.  Trapped in his gaze it wasn't until the loud bang of the door closing, that I noticed someone had stolen everyone's eyes from us.

I turned around to see Jake's boss walking swiftly toward us. I looked at her a frown forming on my face becoming more upset that she would show up like this. Looking at Jake, I searched his face for an explanation but like always he was unreadable. My eyes scanned the room, taking our family and friends watching this scene unfold, I became weak with the thought of speaking up but not wanting this continue I cleared my thought bringing everyone's attention to me.

"Samantha," I stammered, "What are you doing? Just find a seat, please." Taken back by my comment she quickly stopped just sort of the platform.

"I won't let him go through with this," She barked in her same bitter domineer, "Not without knowing he's going to be a father." I could here a few gasps from the pews and a soft chuckled.

"But I'm not pregnant," I stammered

"Not you twit," She laughed, "You really know how to pick them, Jake."

"Jakie," I quivered, "What is she talking about?" Looking a bit flustered, he takes my hand.

"Why don't we go somewhere private to talk?" He whispers.

Looking at my mom's face I pull the last bit of strength I can muster..

"No," I forcefully spit out "Explain now." My heart  raced and I could see him trying to buy time. I looked at Samantha, and took her all in, "Someone better start explaining."

"I had an affair with Sam," He whispered.

"What?" I stammered unable to believe what Jake had just said.

"I said I had an affair with Sam," Jake's voiced echoed through the church.
