Bittersweet Thought's

Scattered like leaves tossed around by the unforgiving winds, Emotions vividly burn through my veins like acid.

The wicked curved grin of the moon conveys unwanted memories that were once better left forgotten by the passage of time

Not even the elegantly beautiful stars that plaster the skies could replace someone as special as you, No measure of time or space could commit such a treason upon my heart.

Years pass by like minutes while the yearning in my heart grows stronger than before, I wish upon my very soul to see your face again, Even if it is for one last time.

Your absence drains the very life from my lungs, I no longer find a need to breathe because my very need is no longer among my presence.

Once you were here to walk by my side, Trying your best to keep my inner demons at bay with your gentle smile.

The way your touch was like that of an angel, My heart void of that feeling now, Only to be replaced by bittersweet tears.

Can you explain how this unforgiving world can take such a precious soul from beneath my very grasp?

Can you explain how a beautiful person with so much to live for, So many loving souls adorning him...Be ripped from my life by the cruel hands of death?

A father is meant to see his baby girl grow up into something he could only dream of, But fate is ruthless shot to the core of my being.
