"Pilot"

(Bridget enters in her huband's office)

Bridget 

(goes behind husband and massages his shoulders)

Are you sure about this? Is this really what you want?

David

(lifts his head) 

I made up my mind. There's no turning back. 

Birdget

We have to tell the kids..... When will we tell them?

David

(sighs heavily) 

Tonight. After tonight, I will make a statement about running for Vice President with Deyes.

Bridget

It wont be right away that you'll make your statement, right? Let the kids get used to idea first, let them adjust.

David

Honey, I have been in politics since Jefferson was 9 and Kenzie 4. They had their whole life to adjust to this idea.

Bridget

(shakes her head)

This is different and you know that! You are running for Vice President! 

David

(walks over to bridget and holds her hand)

Exactly... Vice. President. Not President.

(Acadamey)

(Kenzie, Cristina, and Elliot all sitting together in the cafeteria)

Elliot

(arms wrapped around Kenzie's waist) 

What will you wear to the annual dinner?

Kenzie

Why do you wanna know?

Elliot

So we can match, you are my girlfriend. 

Kenzie

Yes, I am. But, aren't you suppose to ask me to come with you? 

Elliot

(Unwraps his arms around Kenzie and pulls away)

This isn't prom babe. 

Kenzie

(looks over at Cristina and closes her book) 

Don't you think he should ask me to be his date?

Cristina

(Rolls her eyes at Kenzie's action)

....Yeah. Its what you're suppose to do. You can't just assume, just because you're dating.

Kenzie

(smiles and kisses Elliot on the cheek)

Seeee! You have-

(Jenna comes running in breathless with a newspaper in hand)
