How We Met:

The sound of seagulls and the creaking of wood woke me up from my slumber.
Then I remembered that I am no longer at my old home. I am sailing with my family to the new world.
I sat up and yawned and stretched out my aching body. I stood up from the bed and dress myself and did my hair. After all that was done I stepped out of my room and welcomed the air outside.
I looked at the view in front of me. It was so beautiful, the tall wide trees, the huge beautiful mountains, the open yet cloudy skies, it is so amazing and I think I'm going to love it here.

"Lana," I turn to see my mother calling me, "come along dear we're riding on a safety boat to get to shore."

I jog over to her and followed her down the ladder rope and hop on the boat. The men, including my father, started rowing with the paddles. I watched the trees go by as we rode the boat. But for some reason, I feel that we are being watched.

Pocahontos POV:
I watched the strange visitors ride on their strange kanoe.
But there was stranger in there that caught my eyes. It was a female. Her hair has was the color of the sun in a ponytail. Her eyes were as blue as the sky. And her skin tone looks just like the others.
I continued to follow the strangers as they reached the shores.

Lana's POV:
My family and others have arrived to the shores, got off the boats, and pulled our stuff out of the boats.

But I wasn't with them. I was looking out into the view of the forest. It was beautiful.

"You know," I turned to see my father behind me, "it wouldn't hurt to explore."

"Really?" I ask him. Mother would want to be a lady and not explore.

Father nodded. "Yes, I'll tell your mother you went out to search for a lake to drink."

"Thank you father." I thanked my father.

As soon as no one is looking, I left the shore and ran into the forest.

Pocohontos POV:
I saw the blonde woman leave the shore and into the forest. I didn't know why, but I followed her as she traveled through the forest.

Lana's POV:
I traveled through the forest. I was loving all the things around me. But then I came across a waterfall leading to a lake. I was feeling a little thirsty so I decided to have a drink.
I cupped my hands and scooped up the water and to my mouth and drank it. It was wonderful and delicious. I took another scoop of water and drank it. I sighed in satisfaction and stood up on my feet, ready to continue exploring.

But I heard something behind me. I heard the sound of leaves rustling behind me. I turned around to find nothing. But that didn't make me feel better, I knew there was something here.

"Whoever you are, you better come out!" I shouted towards whatever is following me.

A minute passed and I was about to shout again but then something came out of hiding.
It was a man but not an ordinary man.
He had copper muscular body, dark brown eyes, and long black hair. He wore a feather in his hair, a really light brown kilt around his waist with a darker brown belt. A blue necklace with a stone pendant hung around his neck.

He was starring right into my eyes, saying nothing. I was too stunned to speak. Even though this man was very handsome, I knew who he is. He is an Indian. All the men on the ship warned me about them. Saying that they are savages.

We just stood there starring at each other. I didn't know what to do. But then the man started taking slow steps towards me. I felt butterflies storming into my stomach and flew around like crazy. I did the only thing that I could think of.
I ran away. I ran away from the man and back to the shore where the others are. I felt like a coward running away from him. But I didn't know what else to do.
