Chapter 1
It was only Daryl Rick Carol Carl and Sophia left after the prison went down. They had found a small house no much bigger than a shed. It was better than nothing. Daryl and Sophia were out hunting for squirells. "So....how ya doin?" Daryl asked. "Fine just a little worried about Mom" Sophia replied softly. "Look Sophia your mom will be fine, we'll find a good home to have the baby" Daryl smiled. Carol had been pregnant for 6 months now. Moving around alot wasnt good for her. Daryl and Rick were scared that she could die at childbirth the way Lori did. They didnt bring it up in front of Carl it would bring back too many bad memories at the childbirth of Judith. They lost Judith a few years ago. After a full night of hunting squirells, Daryl and Sophia returned to the small house at the lake. "Hey mom!" Sophia called."Oh hey sweetie" Carol popped her head round the kitchen door. "Hi!"Carl shouted over too Sophia. Sophia nodded and quickly looked away."Hey Daryl, can we speak a sec" Rick said. Daryl nodded and followed Rick to the bedroom. "What is it" Daryl said quietly. "I dont think Carol will make the move today"Rick smiled softly. "What ya mean!"Daryl hissed. Rick put his head down slowly. "Were gonna be moving through the woods she wont be fast enough for the ride". "She'll be fine I got er" Daryl smiled. Rick nodded. Daryl left the room and slammed the door. "Everyone ready!" he bellowed. Sophia grabbed her bag and left for the car with Carl beside her. Carol held Daryls hand as they walked to the car. Eveyone hopped in and they left for the woods.....
