Hi! I'm Jodie Spender, my best friend is Annabeth. She's smart, brave, and athletic. She saved me from the bullies and they stopped bullying me. They know not to mess around with Annabeth. She has a boyfriend and every time someone asks her out, she says no, even to the jocks.

Anyway, it was free time. Annabeth and I were walking to a table outside to study for a test coming up.

"Hey Annabae," Jay Baker, the captain of the school Football team, said as he made his way towards Annabeth.

"My name's Annabeth."

"Come on babe, I know you want me," Jay pushed.

"Yeah, I do want you, to get away from me," Annabeth sassed.

Jay continued his way over, he put a hand on Annabeth's shoulder. The next thing that Annabeth did shock me.

She grabbed his hand and flipped him over her shoulder. He landed with a thud on the concrete.

Annabeth gently grabbed my wrist and pulled me to an empty table. I was getting really annoyed of these jocks.

We were studying for about 10 minutes when another jock came over. The captain of the swim team, Percy 'Mr Perfect' Jackson.

"Hey, Annabeth and Jodie!" Mr Perfect grinned. I was surprised he knew my name.

"Hey-," I cut Annabeth off.

"What do you want Mr Perfect. You're just another jock who wants to get into Annabeth's pants then dump her and go sleep with another girl. You've probably slept with every girl on campus. Well, guess what, Annabeth isn't another slut who you could take then dump. She has a boyfriend and you have a girlfriend. Go away, we don't need another jock to ruin our day."

When I finished, Percy was staring at me, confused. I looked over at Annabeth proudly but saw that she had a mixed emotion look. "Uh, Jodie, it's not your fault because you didn't know. Percy is my boyfriend."

I made an "O" face. "Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry Percy. I just thought you'd be like to other jocks who sleeps with girls then dump them. Please forgive."

Percy chuckled. "It's alright. You didn't know."

Then he turned to Annabeth, "You chose a good one."

Annabeth just laughed and punched him. Percy faked a look of hate. Then all 3 of us burst out laughing.

"Nice seeing you Jodie," Percy said as he stopped laughing. He leant over to kiss Annabeth then walked away.

"Nice boyfriend you got," I said to Annabeth.
