Note:
Sorry this part took so long.

Day 7:

The days have gotten much crazier, having to dodge Russians and Tanks. Now that we had been off track of our route, We needed an escape. So we called an extraction team, they accepted the request and said they'd arrive in 20 minutes.

10:25 AM

The extraction team arrived and loaded us in,

"So where did you guys come from?"   One man asked.

"We came from Camp Hawstinson." Carter replied.

"What? You survived the bombing?" The man asked.

"Yeah, hey can you fly us over to Camp Cander?" Stillwater said.

"Yeah man, we'll take ya." He said

After about 30 minutes, we found out that we were 10 miles away from Camp Cander.

Well, that all changed, for me.

About 3 minutes later, we heard a loud boom and a shake.

"What the?" Carter asked.

Suddenly, the Helicopters doors had opened, sending me flying out the back. All I heard was the distant scream of Stillwater. I felt lightweight. Then,

My eyesight went entirely blurry. I had fallen about 40 feet into a pond. Suprised that I had lived, I get up and look around.

The helicopter had been out of sight, who knows if they lived? I realized one thing:

I was alone

And lost.

My father told me the day I left for the marines was:

"The only thing to fear, is fear itself."

I was afraid I was going to die.

No food,  water, shelter,  all I have is a handgun, and a knife.

Then I began a slow, painful walk.
To nowhere.
