you're pov

you were terrified. all you could hear was a muffled yell come from outside. you even heard a gunshot. what the hell is going on today? sonny seemed extremely angry more than scared. suddenly someone in a suit jumped through the window! "you again!" he yelled. joel stepped forward. "you need to leave! now!" he shouted. "I can and will fight you!" then they pulled out a gun, shooting him in his shoulder. joel staggered back, hitting the floor. you screamed, running over to Joel. "its ok, its ok." you said, crying. sonny ran up and knocked the gun out of their hand. they looked at him, even though you couldn't see their face you knew they were angry

he pushed them up against the wall. he seemed blinded by anger, he usually will never put his hands on someone. "you are not fucking welcome here! you need to leave!" he yelled, hitting them against the wall multiple times. they groaned, falling to the ground. he pulled the mask off them and stepped back. "y/n..." he said. I looked over. "oh my god." it was angel.

emotions hit you like a truck. your best friend... out of all people. "you win sonny." she said, weak. " I just want you. I need you in my life." "stop." he said. "all you need is to be in fucking prison." then a cop stumbled in, blood pouring from his chest.

"I thought you were dead." she groaned. "there are units on the way," he said weakly, then he passed out. sonny ran over to him and Daniel ran over to angel and kicked her in the stomach. "you don't deserve to be y/n's friend. don't you know how much you've hurt her by pulling this damn stunt?!"

you looked at Joel, he was breathing heavy. "its gonna be alright, ok? people are on their way." "sonny tosses me your sweater," you said. he pulled his sweater off, tossing it to you. "sorry I have to do this, it may hurt a little." you said, ripping his sleeve off. you took the sweater sleeve and his fabric from his sleeve and wrapped it around the wound. he hissed in pain. "its ok its alright." you wrapped the rest of it on his arm to stop the bleeding.

"how do you know how to do this?"

"I watch lots of TVs. guess it comes in handy."

joel laughed a little. you heard sirens approach and paramedics and cops ran in. angel still layed limp on the ground, she was still breathing but knocked out. the cops grabbed her, pulling her out. paramedics grabbed the cop and Joel. "he's gonna be alright."

we have pulled out the house and we got in the back of the ambulance with Joel. we had loki with us too. " I really hope your gonna be alright," you said, looking at Joel.

sonnys pov

I looked at y/n as we sat in the back of the ambulance. she looked at me, tears streaming down her face. I opened my arms and held her. I felt so bad. " it's alright, its all over now." she pulled you closer and she cried even more. "just let it all out, its ok," I assured. "its all gonna be ok."

we arrived at the hospital and they rolled Joel into emergency surgery.

"he's gonna be ok, it's just a shoulder wound." the doctor said. "as long as it didn't hit anything major, he's gonna be completely fine."

"thank you so much," I said. y/n was still crying. I continued to hold her. I held her the entire time we were at the hospital.

4 hours later Joel was out of surgery. we asked the doctor repeatedly if we could see him. finally, he said yes. joel was awake, or at least half awake.

"are you doing alright?" y/n asked. all he gave was a silent nod. "good, that's good."

~2 years later~

me and y/n drove around la, Joel in the back with Daniel. we bumped music having fun. it had been two years since the incident with angel and we all had basically forgotten about it until this day came along. angel was still going to be in prison for a few years but who cared. "Two besties in the front, two besties in the back!" Joel shouted happily. Daniel layed his head on joels shoulder. "I'm tired as hell man." "I know you do look really tired." Joel said. "go to sleep if you want I honestly don't care. lay on my shoulder sleeping if you want." he said. "you're a great friend." Daniel sighed, his voice getting more relaxed as he fell asleep.

"you must really care about him," I said, turning the music down just a little. " I mean you already know I've been through thick and thin with him. I trust him and defend him with my life."

"do yall have like a bromance or something?" I laughed. "can guys be friends without people assuming their gay?" Joel laughed. "oh shut up you know I was joking. if you do date him i don't give a shit though." I said sternly. "ok ok, we're just friends sonny."

I looked at y/n with a smile on my face. I loved her, I loved her a lot. we have bonded so much over the past few years but I feel like I need more time with her before I confess to anything.

"I know where we should go." she said reaching towards the dashboard screen. "is it out of state?" "yep, is that ok with you?" she said. "honestly I don't care but we should get some clothes back at home first."

"we aren't too far from home anyway," I said. y/n even moved closer to my neighborhood so she didn't have to drive too far to see me. I placed one of my hands on her while she was resting her hands on the armrest. her breath hitched a little and she blushed. she has to like me. i don't want to jump to conclusions though. she was smiling and looking at her lap. I blushed too. I loved her so much I just want to tell her, hold her in my arms and give her all the affection in the world.

I was happy she was in my life, even if we never dated, I would still be happy shes with me.

we got to the house and I grabbed my clothes and then we stopped at everyone else's at their houses. I grabbed Daniels clothes since he was basically dead asleep. we clamored back into the car. "alright choose where you wanna go." she entered something into the touchpad and then Siri spoke, "starting the fastest route to las vegas, Nevada."
