sonnys pov

I woke up to balloons tied in my room and a cupcake with a candle sitting on top with a light and a pack of American Spirit sitting next to it.
today was my birthday. this was all a surprise to me.

I groaned as my sheets felt damp with sweat. "who cut the damn ac?!" I shouted.

y/n came running in with a scared look on her face. "babe im sorry it just got really really cold last night, I couldn't handle it."
"its ok we just have to get clean bedding now. I need a shower."

going into the bathroom I stripped of the little bit of clothing I was wearing and took a warm shower.
the hot water felt amazing and I relaxed feeling happy.
today was going to be a good day even though I woke up damp.

when I got out of the shower I dried off and tossed on a robe brushing my teeth. I stepped out to see what y/n was doing when I heard her in the room.

"out already?" she said with a smile lighting the cupcake.
"Mmm," I mumbled, too occupied to speak.

"Joel and Daniel are on there way over. since you only wanted your birthday with us everyone else is a little sad."

After I finished brushing my teeth I gave her a tender kiss. "Happy birthday baby," she said with a bashful look on her face.

"Blow out your candle!" she said.
"Ok, ok I will."
I grabbed the cupcake and made a wish. "I wish one day I can purpose to her. So she can be my baby forever." I said in my head. Blowing out the candle I licked some of the frostings off the top.

"This is good! You made this?" I asked.
"Yep. All for you."

"Thank you so much. I love you."
"I love you too."

"Anyone home?" a voice shouted from behind the door.

"They're here! I'll be right back don't leave the room just yet there are things I need to do out there first."

I nodded and went over to the dresser to grab some clothes. I got a Jack U shirt and some blue jeans. Throwing on the clothes Daniel and Joel came in a few minutes later.

"Hey dude how are you feeling on your special day?" Daniel asked. He was bouncy and full of energy.

"Well I woke up about an hour ago and y/n won't let me leave the room." I sighed. "Oh well don't worry you're going to love it out there," Joel exclaimed.

"Dude why is your hair wet?" he scoffed.
"It's called a shower, Joel."

Joel blushed in embarrassment and chuckled. "Definitely knew that."

Y/N came back in and ushered me out of the room. "Alright im coming."
Walking out of the room my breath hitched at everything that she did. There was a gate in the living room that made a ball pit. In the dining room, there was a massive cake and black and red balloons. There were tons of gifts stacked up in the corner with a little flag that said "Skrillex" on it.

There was a long string of food on the counter and something was still in the oven. "You really didn't have to do all of this babe..." I said in amazement.

"Well, I just wanted to make you super happy on your special day. I just love you so much and I can not bear to have you bored a-" Daniel suddenly jumped into the ball pit and shouted happily. We all laughed and decided to jump in with them.

"This is fun already!"

We got out of the pit and we decided to eat some food.

"So how the hell did I sleep all night? You didn't drug me did you?" I asked y/n, suspicious on why I slept all night.

"Do you not remember the gift I gave you last night?"

"Whoa!" Daniel exclaimed and she winked.

"Wait no I don't remember."

"Must have been good then." he laughed.

"Oh shush your just jealous because you haven't lost your virginity."

Daniel then went quiet and Joel started laughing hysterically.

"You haven't?!"

"No... But I will!"

We began eating food holding a steady conversation. Then it came time to cut the cake. I frowned when I saw it said 31 on the top. "I'm getting old. Great." I shook it off and grabbed the cake knife cutting into it. Y/N cut everyone else a piece and we began eating.

"Man this is a good cake."

"I cooked all of this. We are so going to have to go to the store."

"Thank you so much babe it tastes amazing."

"time for presents now!" she exclaimed. we went over to the presents and I opened one."

"a fucking phone?!" I said happily. "I knew you needed a new one so that's what I did I got you a new one."

I got the next gift. It was flat and heavy. Opening it I saw it was a new laptop.

after opening the rest of the gifts we ate more food and cake and mostly chatted for the rest of the day and we played in the ball pit.

after everyone left me and y/n got some alone time.

"you were pretty wasted last night im not surprised you don't remember your early birthday gift.

"well, then what did you give me?" I asked pulling her really close to me.

"my virginity."
