Made Mermaid

Chapter 1

I don't know if you guys noticed but if you look at all the weird things i did on the prolouge with the symbols and stuff. It had this: :{> this is now mine! Anyhoo, here is chapter 1!!!!!!!!!! :{> also if you look at this sideways it looks like a baseball bat: ! Just saying !<--baseball bat .<-- baseball haha im funny

Alica's POV

"Dad! Dad! DAD!" Man where is he. This house is only so big.

"Honey i'm in the basement! Come here i have to show you something!" he yelled.

I ran into the hallway to the badement door, down the stairs and into......well i dont know what i ran into to.

"Honey today i'm going to show you what i do for a living." he said walking over to a door that i didn't even know excist in this house.

I walked over to the door and walked in the room that was behind it. The room was covered in papers full of pictures, words, graphs, and numbers. Man i didn't know my dad was that smart. I mean i knew he was smart but, WOW, this is amazing.

"Dad did you do all of this?" I asked looking up at him being like 4-6 inches taller that me at about 6 feet.

"Yeah, what do you think?"

"This is amazing, what is it for?" I asked now curious about all of the papers and what they say.

"Well all of this is about how to transform a normal person in to a hybrid with a fish." my dad said with the biggest smile i have ever seen him have.

"You mean like a mermaid or merman?"

"Exactly that Alica, but now i know exactly what to do but i just need a volunteer to test it for me." man i hope he doesn't mean me. Yet i don't think that i would mind to be able to breath under water and swim twice as fast. But he couldn't possibly think that i of all people do this, expesally his daughter.

"Alica, would you possibly be my volunteer?" he asked with an innocent face.

What do i say? Yes? No? "Anything for you daddy."

"Great we start tomorrow! Now go to sleep, we have a big day ahead of us." he said while walking out of the room leaving me a bit dazy.

I took a closer look at the pictures and relalised that it was a picture of legs transforming into a tail much like a mermaids. Under the picture it said up to a week to transform but very painful, may cause fainting, nausia, comas for short periods of time, or death. Man i feel all of thise right now except being in a coma.

I walked out of the room feeling lightheaded and walked up and out of the basement shutting the door. Going up more stairs to my blue and green bedroom, closing the door, taking a shower, putting my pajamas on, unmaking my bed, turning off ceiling lights, getting in bed, then turning side table light off. Me a mermaid, wow. But man, i hope this next week goes by fast.

Soon darkness taking over me with an image of a mermaid tail in my mind.
