Leyla woke up, smelling the fresh air.It was her birthday,which she was so excited for.She had been waiting for this day for a long time,ready to use her saved up birthday money.She wanted to save it up for something like new designer cloths or jewelry from Cute Cuties shop.They had the cutest jewelry!
Getting on her orange tang-top and cotton skirt when she smelled her favorite breakfast.Pancakes........orange juice......fruit salad.....and waffles!Oh,she coudn't wait that long for her delicious breakfast like this.She rushed down the stairs to see she was the first one there from her bother and sister.They were both older than her.
She was usually the princess in the family,though she was not that girlie(on special event though,like her B-day), and she was pretty old now.She was turning 14 today.Today was April 12, 2012,when all her dreams would come true like being treated like a adult-not a kid,or getting to open up her own job as a tween.But of course,her crush would never like her(one of her dreams,)for he liked Jessica,another popular girl.
Her mom was in the kichen setting up when she said,"Good morn-" just as the phone ringed.Leyla rushed to it,hoping it was her friends.She was planning to go to the movies with them,so she had to tell them soon.
She picked it up and heard the news lady speaking.They always had breaking news on their home phone.The lady said, "We have breaking news.The Cute Cuties shop seemed to be robbed by someone not known.The cashier,Mary Gosh,came in the store in surprise to see shattered glass every where.She also found out that nothing was stolen.Go to channel 9 to learn more."
But Leyla didn't need any more information.Hopefully,they were still open.Why would someone try to do that?She had no idea except because of the cute jewelry.
Her brother came next with just his PJs on(boxers and a tangtop).He always was like that at breakfest.She didn't really like him like that because it was like wearing underwear.Not so cool.
"Why are you in boxers again!You know it disgusts me!"she said.
"I'll change later.I'm too tired."he replied.
"Wow,lazy head....."
"You muddy cow...."
"Nose-picker pig!"
"Poopy lollipop!"
"Kids,stop messing around with each other!"her mom said.
"I know,right!They are SO noisey!"said my sister,"They just had to wake me up!"
"Yup,"Leyla's brother said,"Me,Nick Jalson has to!"
"And me,Annie Jalson,will rip your ears off next time you do!"
It just made Leyla laugh to see her sister and brother to fight like this.But it happened alot.It was like comedy reality TV shows.
Breakfest was ready and sat at the table,wondering what she would do next.
