I woke up a jump, covered in sweat. I got up to open my window to discover that it was already open with a blood red rose and a note.

How did he do that I thought as I picked up the rose to place it into my vase of red flowers.

After I'd showered and dressed in my favourite black jeans and biker boots, blood red vest top, old faded biker's jacket and no makeup.

I ran down the stairs to get some answers after all these years of asking. Mom was sat at the kitchen with her coffee and jam on toast as ever, I sat down in the chair opposite her.

"Mom..., can I talk to ya for a min?"

"Sure, Jessa what's wrong?"

"Well, um seeing as it's my birthday I was thinkin' we can talk about dad coz I think now I'm eighteen I think I can know who my father is."

"Jessa ya know the answer to that your father is gone and not important, as I've told you every time you've asked. Now when is Adam coming to take ya to school?"

SHIT!

I forgot he drove me to school, our moms are best friends. Axel told me to stay away from him and for some reason I trusted Axel with all my heart, but now I need to get ready and get to school on time.

Well I guess I could call Vic and Jay for a ride but they live on the other side of town so that was out. As I looked out the window to see the smoking hot sight of Axel in tight jeans, white t-shirt, biker boots, like mine and sexy as hell leather jacket parked up on a Harley waiting for someone I think.

I checked the time and saw that I need to get going if I was going to walk.

"Um... I'm not sure but I to go anyway," I said hoping to get away.

"Okay, Hun I will see you later then."

"Bye, mom."

I quickly got my bag and ran out the door into a familiar hard chest.

"Hey, love need a ride?" Axel whispered into my ear sending a shiver of excitement down my spine.

"Um... I don't know Axel, I don't want to put ya in any mess with ya friends, I know that they don't like me or my friends and I don't mind walkin'."

"It's no big deal love also I don't want my girl walkin' when I can easily take her but we to get movin' before Adam comes in bout 5 minutes coz it won't be pretty if he sees us together, ok my Jessa?" He said in his low deep voice with a husky edge that should be illegal for being as sexy as sin.

"Um... Only if ya sure that it's fine, but why do I need to stay away from Adam?"

"In the woods, my dear I gave you my word ok?" At my nod, he said

"Right then hop on."

Handing me a spare helmet and I hopped on when I heard a car up the road, thinking it could be Adam and wrapped my arms around his waist. Axel gunned the engine and shot off down towards the school but at the last moment turned off into the woods.

He parked up near my favourite place to come when I need to think and be alone. I hopped off the, took off the helmet handing it back to Hunter and walked to the rock I always sat facing the lake that took my breath away every time I saw it, waiting for Axel.
