Previously-

"The funeral is a small, quiet ceremony.

The mother is crying softly, the father is purposefully silent, and the siblings are warily grieving the brother they never really knew.

The doctor is there too, rubbing the tan line on his left ring finger and breathing in, breathing out.

The priest conducting the ceremony asks if anyone would like to say a few words.

A boy with bright blue hair and mocha eyes (and C major lips and blue-sky hands and tiger-growl teeth) stands up."

He makes his way to the stand in front of the closed casket.

Dr Paulson, Tyler's mom, and Tyler's dad stare at the boy, with blue-purple written on their faces.

"Hi. My name is Josh."

Tyler's mom almost faints, before his dad catching her. She looks white again.

"I would first like to start off by thanking Tyler. He gave me something no one ever had. A home with open arms. Without him, I would be like stretched orange cotton. Um..." Josh says, trying to remember the word. "Terrified. Without him, I am terrified. I once told him that," he looks at the wooden plaque in front of him, with "Tyler Joseph" engraved in it. He graces the name with his finger tips. "that, You never know when you'll have to set everything on fire. He didn't understand what I meant, until now. Until everything is black and blue. When you no longer feel a low-pitched B on your piano..."

Josh turns to Tyler's casket.

"Tyler... I'm sorry. I'm sorry that we were always fucking sorry... I'm sorry. I'll miss your pink face."

Josh's eyes are red, but not 'attractive-red'.

Tyler's mom stands up. Slowly, she makes her way up to Josh. As soon as she's near him, she silently examines the boy who her son always wanted to talk about.

The boy her son loved with all his heart.

The boy who was never real.

".. Josh?" She says, stammering every letter. He stares at her, waiting for her to slap him or push him.

But she doesn't.

"Josh. Josh..." her eyes go red, just like Josh. She moves her hand to her mouth as she starts crying hard. Josh holds her in his arms, while she whispers "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" over and over again.

He pushes her off, hands still on her arms. "I'm sorry..." He can't hold it. Josh starts crying as hard as she is and before we know it, Josh sees Tyler right behind his mother. He smiles and disappears in thin air.

He's really gone...
