The bag gets taken down.... After a few moments, in a long hall, two torches get lit on and a wooden chair is seen in the distance, a small lady, -a human- was sitting on it, with brown hair and blue eyes, average height but.... Young. She was behind everything on Exiiria, from the ''revolution'' to its forced independence. Alténis was still handcuffed, but this time against the floor, for safety measures, of course.... He didn't like it however.... Alténis bowed to the lady.
-"My name is of no importance, we know who you are.... And we want your help."
-"It doesn't look like it, considering I am chained to the floor." He smirked. He had a point. "Why should I help you people anyway? Thanks to you all, Aldania invaded Crodomac, because your selfish people closed their mines and Aldania was too weak to take it back, so they invaded Daibasa."
-"True, but...-" She got interrupted.
-"But what? What could you possibly do to make me agree with you?" Alténis smiled.
-"Do NOT speak this way to our lady." The guard kicked Alténis' face, instantly making him bleed. "Apologies my lady, and you, shut up."
-"Do that again, and I swear you won't live another day." Alténis calmly said.
-"What did you say chum?" He got his sword out and stabbed Alténis thumb. He approached his ear. "I am in control here." The screams of pain echoed through the place, and as an impulse, the same rage made Alténis bite the guard's cheek off, making him bleed and making other guards intervene and take him to a doctor quick. The screams of pain were now mixed with a cynical laugh that Alténis started... Two other guards proceeded to punch the gut of Alténis until he stopped laughing.
-"Enough, and yes. You WILL accept. You have no other options." Said the governor.
-"Try." Alténis said under his breath before winking at the governor.
-"Kroarl." She said firmly. This name made Alténis' blood boil inside, his eyes got bigger and their glow shinier, he bit his tongue and let it all out.
-"WHERE IS THE BASTARD." He tried to get up but the chains and a kick of a guard stopped him, he cried while laughing....
-"Cooperate with us, predator and you might get some revenge." She then ordered a scribe to take out some scrolls, and other papers and put them on the floor in front of Alténis. The scribe lit his hand on fire so he could read. "Is this your man?" She said, after ordering the scribe to show some other papers. "This is him now." Information about him and how he looked now, with his new life and disguised were shown. "HE changed his name to Monk Ladius, under our command, he was tasked to infiltrate and kill the Leader of Aldania, but he took the job differently, he infiltrated the military with this new identity and was quickly made the Leader's bodyguard, since his skills in combat were promising... He then went around and betrayed us. Getting himself way too high on the ranks and personally planning an attack against us, which how you can see, it succeeded, his uniform; full black robes, a mask.... Helps him to keep his down low, but it won't be long until he tries something stupid. We need you to take him out before we are wiped out.... And your country."
-"I accept." He said without hesitation.
-"Huhn, we expected more fight from yo-"
-"Send me. Now. I want to kill the imbecile. Now."
-"I am afraid you have to wait, although if you really want that to happen, we could arrange it to be set in for tomorrow, in which case you will already be able to infiltrate Aldania, and get into the Capital and kill Kroarl. And if you have the opportunity, also kill Lirr'Ak."
-"Understood." He did not asked how they all knew about him and all this apparent conspiracy, but he just followed, he was blind for revenge....
He didn't receive training, he was ready, and he was now on a boat heading to Aldania...
