Meanwhile in Aldania:
-"I carried out your plans My Lord." Kroarl said to Cahill who watched the forests burn and the people dying from afar.
-"Good. But wouldn't this be better?" He smiled and looked at the confused man.
-"What do you mean sir?" Kroarl was puzzled, and Cahill laughed.
-"I mean, to actually kill the Leader as you planned, but take his place. Set Chaos free, make it reign over this dreadful place.... Make me consume their minds...." Kroarl looked surprised, he was only interested in killing and leaving, a normal Hit and Run mission.
-"I would agree, but sir.... Let you consume them.... Drive them insane, to... make them no less than savages. I am afraid I won't let you...."
-"Then I will start with your mind and the-"Cahill got interrupted.
-"I never said I couldn't do it, I'll do what it takes.... Unless my regret kills me first."
-"A sudden change of mind eh? Good, even if you disagreed you would have got killed in this right instant, what makes you think you can stop me?" Cahill laughed, Kroarl just smiled.... Nervously. "We are in this together Mr. Kroarl.... Or I will consume your son too."
-"I understand. It will be done in a few days or more, until I prepare my hit, I don't want to draw enough attention... Maybe do it in private and disappear, I will come up with something sir, I promise."
-"Excellent." Cahill vanished.
Drops of fresh cold sweat kept falling to the floor, the more Kroarl thought about this all, the worse it was getting to him.... He was losing his mind. He began questioning everything, and then saw a small book on the floor.... It was next to a window, it appeared out of thin air, he picked the book up.... The title being "Kroarl." He opened it and saw his life from beginning to his present, which was still being written, this alone was killing him.... The thirst for knowing more.... He saw out of the window and saw from Sectoria the big city on Sector 7, and the broken bridge to Exiiria.... Fire was emerging from several part of the country.... Riots, massacres, everything was going to hell.... He then silently nodded before reading more of the book. The Capital of Aldania, Sectoria was shaking now as Kroarl was.... A cold feeling covered the whole country.... The end was near....
Alténis got out of the boat he used to infiltrate Sector 7. He went to the designated place marked on a small map in a piece of paper the governor gave him.... It was a small tent with supplies for his revenge. Nobody else was around, until he entered the tent.... Cahill was calmly drinking tea. Alténis was in an Alternate Reality bubble, everything being upside down again.
The man politely said:
-"Sit down young boy. You wanted to talk? I can sense it now."
To what an anxious and enraged Alténis replied:
-"Yes. I need a favor from you, and I am afraid you will say yes. Regardless if you don't agree."
-"Before you continue, what is the thing you must desire at this moment?"
Alténis, being caught off guard without colors on his face said:
-"Revenge."
-"No no, that kills the mind.... It's a simple question."
-"My mother" He said looking at the floor, thinking that she wouldn't be proud of what Alténis has become.... A criminal. A female voice then asked.
-"What did you wanted to ask me about sweetie?" It was Umurrah. Alténis was enraged and grabbed by the neck what looked like his mother.
-"Oh yeah. This is a fucking game to you right??" He laughed then stabbed his mother on the gut.... She disappeared revealing a smiling Cahill.
-"Alténis, give me a break. It takes houuurs to heaaal.... Ugh. What do you want?" Cahill asked, before brushing off his gut wound.
-"I want the book of Kroarl's life." He said.
-"I am afraid I can't do that boy...." Cahill said calmly. Alténis' eyes began glowing intensely before Cahill.
-"WHY." He asked.
-"He has it." Cahill said, before sipping his tea once again.
Alténis' body got cold, his legs began shaking and his body collapsed, he began laughing manically before grabbing his own head and pull his own hairs.... "You two are working together..... I should have known. Bastard"
-"How can you think that? You're like a son to me, I wouldn't ever betray you!"
-"I never said anything about betrayal.... Cahill." Cahill's eyes were now without of color, he messed up.
-"Sharp." He said, regaining his composure. Alténis grabbed him by his clothes and threw him on the floor.
-"Don't mock me demon. You need me." Alténis was sure of this reply, since Cahill rapidly sat down and asked...
-"And why is that, kid?"
-"I kill Lirr'Ak and Kroarl. Chaos will ensue, then you can consume their poor pathetic minds.... Simple isn't it? My mind is also the most valuable asset ever to you, I have seen your eyes with my every move, your fascination.... Like a hunter to his prey."
-"What are your terms?" Cahill was silent, and collected. Surprisingly.
-"Make me invisible in the eyes of my enemies, until I can issue my revenge against my mother, and my damn country. After I take over, you'll have all the minds you can get."
-"Including yours, son?" Cahill was now the living image of Alténis' father. He had to make sure his bold statements were true.
-"Yes." He did not hesitated in his answer, nor cared for the mind tricks of Cahill.
-"Interesting, it's done then mortal." Cahill disappeared.
-"I guess I can now take pride on calling you father...." A tear began slowly descending from Alténis eyes.... "Those 'Heroes of War' killed my mother, and humiliated my people."
He did not rest that night, he began walking towards Sectoria.... It was far, but nothing was stopping him now.... If only I did at that time.... He was now in full possession of Cahill, or so Cahill thought; he heard those last words by Alténis when he disappeared....
-"It is done Master Cahill, Lirr'Ak will be killed in a few moments, with poison."
-"Poison? What are you? A jealous woman ready to kill his man to inherit his fortune? Haha!! I want him dead, with your hands."
-"But then it will be obvious, I will be forever hunted."
-"Do I have to repeat myself?" A strong headache hit Kroarl.
-"I will, I will please stop. Apologies!"
Kroarl proceeded to take the poison off the wine and food of the now-Emperor of Aldania.... He almost got caught. Naturally it could have been simpler that way but Cahill wanted real Chaos.... The Emperor noticed the changes of last moment on his wine and food choices, when asked the servants, they said Kroarl put them away.... The old man called Kroarl—Ladius, to a secret meeting.... Alone.
