Soon, Kai met up with Sehun and Irene, panting again.

" did you find her? " Irene asked and Kai shakes his head in reply.

" i'm going to ask the receptionist. " Kai said as he quickly rushed to the information desk.

Sehun and Irene followed behind Kai.

" excuse me, but can i know what time is the flight to California leaving? " Kai asked the receptionist.

" please wait a minute. it already left 10 minutes ago Sir. " the receptionist said.

" oh... i see, alright thank you. " Kai thanked the receptionist and walked to nowhere lifelessly.

" THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! " Irene shouted as she smacked Kai's chest repeatedly.

" Irene, calm down. it's nobody's fault. it's Krystal choice " Sehun said as he hugged Irene preventing her from hitting Kai who was heartbroken and dead.

" i'm sorry.... " Kai apologised while looking at nothing in particular.

" alright, let's all just head home now. " Sehun said as he supported both Irene and Kai to his car.

Back at home.

Kai quickly went upstairs to his room and locked himself up. Kai was particularly depressed about Krystal leaving. Sehun spent his time comforting Irene.

" can you please give me some time alone Sehun? " Irene asked and Sehun stood up and got out of Irene's room.

Irene quickly grabbed her phone and dialled a number.

'babe! where are you?'
'did you safely reach there?'
'thank god. alright, i think this is working.'
'he is so depressed right now, i actually feel so bad.'
'alright, have fun meeting your parents there! i'll be there soon!'

With that, Irene ended the call. Irene started packing her luggage when suddenly Sehun enter her room.

" what are you doing? " Sehun asked.

" i'm going to find Krystal since Jongin isn't going to find her. " Irene said.

" you can't do that! " Sehun said as he stopped Irene from packing.

" why can't i? " Irene asked.

" i don't want you to get hurt, so please. " Sehun begged.

After Sehun managed to 'calm down' Irene, Sehun left Irene's room as she was sleeping. After knowing Sehun left the room, Irene woke up from her fake sleep and continued to pack her luggage.

Irene decided to wait until all of the EXO members to fall asleep before leaving.
