Thapki's POV (Volume 2)

I wanted to breathe the fresh air of a new city. Here we were.. Maa & I had a good time setting up the new place & making it a 'home'. Papa, my sister & brother were given every information about what we were doing, time to time, by Maa. So typical of her..

Dhruv Pandey. This name, I can never forget. He's my idol, in one way a godly figure. He was the owner of '365 News Channel', which was popular among any age group, specially youngsters. I was one follower too. My family knew about my excitement, whenever I watch Dhruv Sir on TV. He was an inspiration for wishing-to-be-journalists like me 😊

I got an appointment at his news channel 😁 Pretty nervous but yes, I finally made it to the huge office. My biggest goal, to become an inspiring journalist, was coming true. I was obviously mocked as usual on the first day, which was nothing new 😐 But meeting Dhruv Sir? That was an experience..

I never mixed my professional & personal lives. But Maa was always there whenever I felt low at work. She would build up my courage & motivate me. Working at the channel was interesting as well as the togetherness of our family ☺👪

Varun Bhaiyya (भैय्या) was the eldest in our family & the day he returned? We all were so happy. By the time, my brother, sister & Papa had arrived too. We were such a happy crowd together & yes, working with Dhruv Sir was also making me happy ☺

But I will never forget some of the stupid mistakes I made at the office.. Smashing cake on Dhruv Sir's face, almost eating up a memory chip... Ugh.. The memories haunt me like anything..

But somewhere in my heart, I was growing an affection towards Dhruv Sir. I don't know how I felt this emotion all of a sudden but yes, he didn't make fun of my stammering too. I was feeling different when I was with him. He joined me with his tasks at work & had hopes on me. We were behaving as friends & he also showed fondness for me.

That's when everything turned around. Are you kidding me? Dhruv Sir? My life partner??? That I never imagined in my entire life. I really liked Sir as a person. He was humble, honest & an inspirational character. I followed him since we were in Agra. Meeting him was a dream come true. But I didn't know how & when my heart skipped a beat for him. We became close to each other & without my realization, I had already fallen for him 💟

Hi All ☺ I've given the second volume of Thapki's POV. About her journey in a new city & developing feelings for You-Know-Who 😅
I myself can't tolerate that person, so didn't want to elaborate about Thapki's feelings. She was in an infatuation & yeah, that's it.

Coming up will be Thapki's POV too (sorry about that 😀) but.... Something interesting 😊💖
Will update soon...
