"Nathan." My mom is knocking on my door trying to wake me up.
"Nathan, gising na. It's time for breakfast. Bumangon ka na dyan." -Mom
"Gising na poh. Mag-aaus lang." -Me
"Ok. After mu mag-ayos lumabas ka na dyan para makakain ka na." -Mom
Still sleepy. I gaze at the clock in my room and it reads… 8:00?
"Are you kidding me?! It's only 8 o'clock in the morning." ...ang sabi ko sa sarili ko
I ran straight to my mom ignoring my dad who's currently reading a newspaper.
"Mom. What's the big idea?? Bakit mo ako ginising ng sobrang aga??" -Me
"Now. Have you forgotten already?" ...dad replied
"Forgotten what?" ...Looking straight to my dad who's still reading the newspaper.
"Today is your first day managing the pet shop, remember?" ...Dad answered still reading the newspaper.
"Oh... Yes, now I remember." ...naupo ako sa tabi ni daddy and I started eating.
