Lilly's p.o.v
I woke up on a hospital bed but it didn't look like I was in a hospital, I stood up and felt my arm sting a little, I looked down to see a cast on my arm?, oh yeah I broke my arm when dad threw me outside like I was an animal!
" HELLO" I scream loudly not knowing where the hell I am but knowing I was somewhere safe
" SHUT UP" I heard Nessie's voice yell back, what's she doing here? Where the hell am I? Am I at her house ? She lives in the woods that's strange
" DON'T BE RUDE, NESSIE" I scream back amused and still curious as to where I am and who was that man that helped me
"WHATEVER" she yelled back not caring enough to argue with me, a bit rude isn't she
I walked out of the room and went down the stairs, I felt a cold breeze and turned to see Liam standing behind me with a sad smile on his face trying to cover it up by the looks of it
" Hi" I say breathless making him chuckle with a small smirk on his angelic face
" What happened Lilly?" Liam asks curiously with sadness in his eyes
"I'm not ready to tell you yet.. I'm sorry " I say quietly while staring at the ground ashamed of my past and present life . I know I can trust this people it's a gut feeling I have, I would trust this family with my life and I barely even know them all
" why? What could be so bad ?" He says concerned while placing a hand on my shoulder for comfort I guess
" if I tell you , you can't tell anyone .." I say quietly as my eyes filled with tears, for some reason I have this warm feeling when I'm with him like I can tell him anything , I've never felt this before . I haven't trusted anyone for a long time I guess now is the best time to start
" I won't , I promise " he says truthfully
I grab his hand and take him outside , he knew I didn't want anyone hearing so he gently picked me up and vampire speeded into the forest far enough so that no one could hear us
He placed me down onto my feet and stared at me curiously , waiting for me to start talking
" when my mother passed away I was 6 years old .. dad didn't handle her dying very well at all and I don't blame him , she was his soul mate . It was devastating for him . He started getting very aggressive , at first he would just throw things around and yelling but then he started hitting me . He would beat me sometimes so bad that I wouldn't even be able to move . His no better now , he still does it ... his given me more bruises then I can count " I say quietly , ready for Liam to start looking at me like I was some charity case but he didn't , he looked very sad towards me but didn't seem to be judging me in anyway
" I'm so sorry that has happened to you , why haven't you called the police ? Or left him behind . You don't deserve that kind of abuse " Liam says worriedly
" his my dad ... I love him , his all I've had since I could remember " I explained plainly
We stood there silently for a little bit before he took me back for more pain killers cause I was still in a lot of pain especially with my arm , it was throbbing so much
