Making Pancakes

Chapter 2

I should have probably mentioned this in my last Chapter but I'm mentioning it now. I'm HORRIBLE at spelling and punctuation in general so I'm really sorry if something ain't right but I read over these Chapters around 5-10 times before I publish so hopefully it's all good 👌🏻 Hope y'all enjoy 😁 Comment what y'all  think I LOVE to read your reactions 😂😂👌🏻

David, Killian and Emma are all standing speechless looking at Henry at first not expecting him to be there. Emma looks at Killian with a questionable a look, at the same time David is looking at all speechless trying to figure out his next words but mostly on Henry and thinking "what in the world is he doing here at a time like this".

David walks in confused at first but right away within seconds he figures out what's going on.

Hook ended up being the first to look up and notice it's David and right away unconsciously, helps Emma off the table before he removed his hand from Emma's bottom and lovingly has his hand on her hip not wanting to let her go but still being modest considering it is her father right there in the room.

To make this situation even better for Hook and Emma, Henry begins to walk down the stairs, shocking everyone.

"Woah what did I just walk into?" Henry says jokingly but quickly becomes surprised and notices what's actually going on.

Perfectly in sink Emma and Hook look at each other speechless in confusion.

"What is Henry doing here?" David being first to say it in the very uncomfortable silent situation.

Killian blushes for a moment before he goes to speak and only manages to say "I-I...umm...ahh" not being able to manage a sentence because of the total shock.

Emma blushes red as well "I thought you said he was at Regina's..." question Hook.

"I thought he was..."

"I realized that I left my backpack here last night so I came back over and sort of fell asleep last night doing homework"

"Uh-huh. Okay well.." she says hiding her very red face. "Henry I'll drop you off at school then. Just go up stairs and make sure you didn't forget anything" With that he goes off upstairs to get the rest of his stuff.

Nonchalantly David coughs a bit trying to get there attention back on him so they don't forget he's there and continue to whatever it was that they were doing.. "Well now that I know why you weren't answering your phone" he says while sliding his hands in his pockets "I'm gonna go off to the station, there's a lot of paper work today" David saying as he tried as much as possible to not be too awkward about the situation.

"Alright I'll be there in a bit" coughs out she's still blushing like crazy.

David nods on his way out the door.

With Henry gone upstairs for the moment Emma turns back to Killian with her hands on his chest.

"Sorry babe, continue this later?" She leans in closer flirting a bit with her blushing smile.

He raises his eyebrow with an adorable smirk from her to continue.

"I'm gonna go drop off Henry at school" leaning in to rap her arms around his neck "but when I get back from the station I'm all yours tonight" looking into his eyes.

"I'm gonna hold you to it" he says. Giving a quick peck to the lips he gives her his adorable goofy smile that makes her give a small giggle . As she goes to walk away to go the bed room and change, he gives her bottom a light but firm pat and she can't help but to bite her lip a bit.

Just like most days Emma drives Henry to school but this time it's a bit different. She help but to feel like something's off, like things are a bit awkward on the ride there. She knows eventually she would have to talk with him but really.. What parent wants to talk to about that to their child?

Emma tries to bring it up in the absolute least awkward way possible.

Twiddling her thumbs while staring straight down at the steering wheel as she tries to gain the courage to talk with the lump that has been building in her throat.

"About what happened this morning, before.. well.. umm, you know.."

This couldn't be anymore awkward she thought to herself.

Henry goes wide eyed can't believing they are actually about to talk about about this topic out of everything else. But suddenly Henry notices Violet and being Henry, he uses that to his advantage.

"Sorry Mom would love to talk more, but Imma be late and I promised Violet I'd let her copy my notes down"

She knows exactly what he's doing and plans to ask about how him and Violet have been doing later on. Deep down she's relieved considering it's just a very awkward conversation in general which neither actually want to have but she figured she at least had to try.

"Ohh look there she is" Henry points out he picks up his backpack and check his hair out in the side mirror to make sure it at least tamed quickly before leaving "gotta go" he said s with a wave.

"Wait Henry" but all she does is give a slight smile thinking to herself how adorable it is that he has a crush "have a great day" after they quickly hug he grabs his backpack and she drives off to the station to go to work.

Wanted to do a bit more for this Chapter but if I did it was gonna be another cliffhanger so I thought you guys would like this instead 😂  I'm not sure on how often y'all wanna be updated so comment and next Chapter I'll tell y'all on what I decide  😜 (and do not say every day because that ain't happenin😂)
