drowning. he was drowning his sorrows again with music put on the highest volume possible without bursting his eardrums. he sat by the window of the art room, staring out the window at nothing in particular just like a typical anime protagonist. pathetic. the art room was his safe haven, in moments like this he's truly grateful that the teacher allows him to be in here whenever he wants, as long as he cleans up after. being too caught up in his thoughts he didn't realise someone entered the room until a chair was pulled up beside his own and his right earphone was being stolen.

"hey! give that back- tae??"

"why the long face?? you're pretending to be an anime character again aren't you?"

the thief who sat next jimin sighed out of his slightly pouted lips, an earphone on his finger.

"w-what no??" jimin exclaimed slightly offended, "give that back tae, c'mon-"

his efforts of getting his earphone back we're cut off, "don't tell me you were listening to justin bieber again?" taehyung smiled and tried to put the earphone to his ear, jimin froze;

if tae finds out, i'm a goner.

"NO!! STOP- TAE SERIOUSLY- AGH GIVE THEM BACK-"

jimin wrestled taehyung for the earphone which he easily kept out of jimin's reach by moving them around in lighting speed.

"tae-- please- i," jimin huffed, his face red from trying to grab taehyung's hand as they moved right and left, right in front of his face.

"no!!! agh!" jimin yelled in defeat and dropped his head on the table as taehyung grinned wildly with the earphone in his ear.

"what's so bad- oh you're listening to my song..."

what did i do to deserve this, jimin thought as he groaned loudly and covered his head with his arms, trying to pretend this wasnt happening. this has to be the most embarrassing thing ever. forget that time where i fell in front of the whole class on a piece of paper. forget that time where i fell face first into the sand attempting to do a cartwheel. forget that time where i drunk texted- "-min??" oh. shit tae was talking!

"jimin you okay?" he felt a gentle hand on his arm. "y-yeah... just embarrassed..."

jimin turned his head so that he was laying on his arm and facing taehyung now. taehyung smiled sweetly, not quite his charming box smile but a small smile with lots of warmth.

"why? i'm so glad you're listening to it!" jimin felt slightly better as tae playfully pushed him and giggled, his eyes disappearing into crescents.

"... so what are your thoughts on it?" tae said and passed the earphone back to jimin. jimin sat up properly and removed his remaining earphone, song having ended a little while ago.

"i think it's beautiful." everything about you is beautiful- "joonie-hyung's rap really complements your gentle voice and the mix between your soft vocals and hyung's powerful rap, oh it's so-" ah im rambling "well... it's really nice." jimin finished lamely and mentally slapped himself but taehyung grinned happily at his embarrassed friend.

"i'm so happy you loved it." taehyung says looking at jimin with soft eyes "o-of course. i mean who wouldnt? it's great tae." just this one time face, please dont go red! jimin prayed "you did amazing." he smiled and patted taehyung on his shoulder.

"aigooo!" he exclaimed as he grabbed onto jimin's hand that was on his shoulder before he could take it back, "are you hungry? come on let's go bug hoseokie-hyung for lunch, he's probably still at theatre room."

"okay sure. let's go." jimin grabbed his bag which was discarded in the corner and taehyung returned his chair to it's original place. they were walking out of the room when taehyung caught up next to jimin and reached out for his hand. jimin stopped walking and looked up at taehyung.

"tae? what are yo-"

i'm happy. you have no idea how happy you've made me by liking the song. i could just kiss you. i would kiss you...

taehyung only smiled as jimin looked at him in the eyes. it was that soft warm smile again and that was all jimin needed to let this go.

"c'mon let's hurry! can't let hyung leave before we get there." jimin couldnt help but laugh as they ran hand in hand.
