Since you were little you had always been able to see things. Your parents merely believed it was a child's imagination and nothing more, but it was so much more than that.
You had a gift...or a curse...it really depended on the way you viewed that sort of thing. The imaginary friends you had always seen were odd to say the least, a man with a tall black top hat, a girl with black hair and a green dress and a girl with ginger hair and a blue dress.
As you grew older these 'friends' stayed with you, sometimes they acknowledged your presence and other times they seemed to ignore you. It was all very confusing.
However, soon after you reached 10 years old, your parents had to move away from your hometown of Aberdale and you did - leaving your friends; real and imaginary behind you for good.
