Running Away

"SKYLAR GET YOUR BITCHY SELF DOWN HERE NOW!" he yelled. tears started going down my cheek.

I wiped my tears before I walked downstairs. "did you sneak out while I was gone?" dad growled, I shake my head.

"STOP LYING SKYLAR" he yelled while pushing me to the floor and kicking me in the stomach repetitively. i'll be gone with my friends for 4 days, DONT do anything stupid, slut"

he glared at me before walking out the door.

'i gotta get out of here, I cant handle all of this shit any more' I thought

'im gonna run away, that might stop me from cutting' I smiled to myself

I opened up my window and jump out cause he put a pad lock on all the dam doors.

I landed on the roof and slid down landing safely on the grass. I took a notebook and pen in case anybody tried to talk to me. 'I did great'

I walked down the road to see a coffee shop called Starbucks, dad hates it here so I knew he wasn't gonna be there.

I walked in and sat down. "excuse me, why do you have cuts on your arm?" a curly headed guy asks

I grab my pen and wrote 'My dad abuses me so I cut myself'

I looked up he seemed shocked. "why aren't you talking?"

'Cause My dad wouldn't let me talk since I was 7 and I kinda forgot how to talk' I wrote

"where is your dad?" he asked, wow he looks really concerned.

'Who knows I ran away and have nowhere to go'

he stared down at the paper and looked at me. "you can stay with us if you'd like" he said grinning.

'im too much trouble' i wrote'

"no you not, come on"
