The only thing in the room was chests. I hadn't yet figured out why he had gasped. Although it wasn't just one chest, it was rows and rows of chests.

"Why such a disgusted look on your face?" He looked as though he had just eaten moldy cheese next to a fat person picking their toes. (A/N Sorry for the description...)

"In the corner. O...over there." He stuttered when he said over. I looked. It was a dress. Not just any dress, a wedding dress. but something was off. I could tell, towards the back, there was some discoloration.

I walked over to the dress. It was a beautiful dress. Simple yet very special to one luck girl. "Why is Mrs. Kondin's dress stuffed away up here? It is so beautiful! It should be out on display, in a shadow box!" I asked. I looked over and I saw Mr. Kondin struggling to get his words out.

"It--it-it isn't hers," I must've looked very confused because he explained it to me in great details. 'This happened a while ago, probably 5 or 6 months. Megan and Alica were walking home from school and Megan called me and asked if it was ok if they hung out for a bit. I told Megan her curfew, 6:30 on the dot, and told her if she broke it, she would be grounded for 'until further notice'." I don't know if anyone ever has been grounded for that long but I hope you know it sucks! " She was a very punctual girl, especially for someone her age. She never was late always was early. I asked her where they were going and they said dress shopping. I asked her why. She kinda hesitated and said a school dance. Well, I didn't think that was unusual until she came home. She was holding a big dress bag and that's when I was concerned. I asked her how much she paid and she said $2,359 not including tax. But she said it was worth it to her and it will help her achieve her goal in life, happiness. Well, my thought is, if my daughter is happy, I'm happy. weather it hurts my paycheck or not! She wasn't doing any harm. I asked to see the dress. She said I would have to wait for the dance. she told me no one knew the date but it was soon. Like ASAP. A few days later, I tried to find the dress to see what it was, I was very curious by this point and time. Little did I know, it was in the attic. The locked attic. The attic I didn't have a key to..." He kept rambling on and on and on. I think I started dozing off because he offered me coffee.

"Um Mr. Kondin. I think I should look through these chests, see if they have any clues."

"Oh. Oh yes. I will leave you be. holler if you need anything dear." He left the room. I didn't have any intentions to look at the chests yet. first the dress.

I pulled the dress out of the corner and into the light. I was so confused. This dress was no ordinary dress. It was unique. I mean yes, all dresses are unique, but this one just had that shazam to it. It was that one dress that no one would pick but everyone would love. Now, I just had to figure out why the dress had discoloration.

The dress was white but started fading to the back to make it more of a reddish yellowish color. I figured it was just the soaps it was washed in at the dry cleaners. I unzipped the dress and to my surprise, it wasn't the soaps. There was a blood stain on the inside of the dress. It was close to the left side close to the back of the dress. I looked on the dress to figure out why there was blood on the dress. There was a hole. It was about the size of a knife, not a butter knife, but not a butcher knife, just in between. It was probably closer to the size of a butcher knife. but it was about a third if an inch thick. on the top and bottom of the slit were jagged marks. There used to be sleeves, but now there isn't. There used to be a veil attached to the train and a head piece. I could tell this because there was a long piece of tinsel fabric attached to the beginning if the train but was cut as well. I tried to see what this had to do with the murder. Then I thought of it. I didn't know all the details but I knew that Megan was wearing the dress when she died. The who why where and when throw me off. I am guessing the what is a chain saw because of the jagged tears. Alica was with Megan when she bought it so she probably knows more information about it. but I still don't know where she lives! Back to Megan's room it is!
