I was on my phone, answering snaps and checking stories when my best friend Leo sent me a snap.
It showed him at the most popular club amongst college students in town, Studio 54. In the background, I could see Alex standing and talking to someone I couldn't see.
The caption read: Alex is here ;)
Damn Leo.
He had asked me to come with him earlier today, but i had declined.
But now...
I sighed, and were about to put my phone away to change when I saw that Alex story updated.
When I checked it, I saw Alex and Lucy.
There was no caption, but it spoke pretty much for itself.
I knew that Alex liked Lucy. They had been together on pretty much every single social media

I had been there myself many times, as they had an amazing dance floor, which were the only place where I actually felt self confidence.
And Lucy were this friend of him who he seemed to be with all the time.
I had met her once or twice, and she was actually really nice, yet I couldn't bring myself to think a single good thought about her.
On a impulse, I decided to go down to Dance & Drink.
It was only to dance and have a nice time, I told myself, very well knowing it was a lie.
I quickly changed clothes, from sweatpants and a collage shirt to a simple black shirt and white jeans.
I then left my dorm and started walking downtown. It didn't take long until I started cursing at myself for not bringing a jacket, since it was both cold and dark outside.
However, it wasn't a long walk and ten minutes later I had entered the club.
I sat down at the bar and ordered a drink, while looking around for Alex. It didn't take long to find him. He was on the dance floor, and together with him were Lucy.
I almost chocked on my drink as I tried to finish it, but after coughing a little I were fine, and went on to the dance floor.
Just as I got on, a new song started playing andI recognised it immediately.
It was one of my favourites, and I started dancing, moving and following the music.
I soon got a part of the dance floor for myself, and people around me were clapping the beat to keep me going.
It was amazing, until something caught my eye not to far away.
Alex and Lucy had stopped dancing.
Instead, they were kissing.
