ONSET

Its been 3 days since the team found the girl .. her condition keeps getting worse everyday ..meanwhile, Colonel Ashok Raut , the commanding officer of Leh Army base has been informed about the details of her case and he calls the team for a meeting ..

Col.Raut:  I have contacted higher Authorities regarding the case on 10th Jaunuary 2011 but everybody denies ever hearing about it ..you'll are right, whatever is in the file is just the tip of the ice berg ..did you get anything new from the diary?

Maj Bhargavi: no sir, that's another thing .. pages are missing from her diary .. they have been torn off..cause the next diary entry is 8 months after the incident.

Shlok: Sir i even tried searching for facebook profiles of Capt. Zoya & Capt. Ria.. but i found nothing .. they just don't exist on social media!

Maj Bhargavi: And yes .. remember i said that i have heard about Capt. Ria Sareen Before, she was the new officer who was supposed to join us.. i have a strong feeling that the girl is Capt.Ria.

Mihir: What to do about the case sir .. i think we should dig more about  Capt. Nikhil ... cause if his junior shot him ..he sure had dirt on him..

Naveen: Lt. Pradeep can also be a traitor .. we should dig about both of them ..

Col Raut: Hang on officers .. if this get serious .. we'll be putting the  the lives of every soldier on this base in a jeopardy,I think we should let the IB handle this situation.

 Payal: I apologize , if i am overstepping my limits , but sir  whoever tried to kill her and when and if she survives this .. they'll come again for her .. maybe whoever did this to her already knows that she is alive , we've already put our lives in danger,and  this not the first time we are playing a dangerous enemy, so why should we back out now ?? and if higher authorities are denying the incident .. then how can we say that IB will find out the truth .. they'll just cover it up ..and she'll get killed for nothing !!

On hearing Payals words,The whole room was silent ..nobody ever spoke in this manner in front of their seniors , everybody was waiting for Col.Raut or Maj.Bhargavi to react ..

Maj. Bhargavi : Lt.Sahay please step out the room now !

Though she didn't shout , the sternness in the Major's voice was enough to let Payal know that she had spoken too much ...she went out of the room.Even if Maj.Bhargavi didn't like the way Payal spoke in front of Colonel .. she did agree with her but before Bhargavi could say anything ,there was a loud explosion and alarms went off on the whole base .. everyone ran out of the conference room

The Infirmary tent had caught fire .. all six officers ran towards the infirmary .. all they could think about was the girl, Col .Raut was shouting orders at the other officers to gear up for an attack ..it was chaos everywhere...

2 hours later the fire was comletely doused and no enemy was found on the base, this was just a break in to destroy the infirmary..to kill the girl!

All the officers rushed inside the infirmary as soon as the fire was put out .. all the injured soldiers had been brought out before .. but not the girl .. Dr. Aishwairya was also injured she had dislocated her shoulder when she fell down the infirmary stairs due to the impact of the blast.

They searched the whole building but didn't find the girl , suddenly Raj notices an ambulance behind the building .. it had suffered the impact of the blast as well, but luckily hadn't caught fire..with no idea what instinct he ran towards the ambulance and looked inside from the broken window ... there she was on a stretcher and Lt. Payal was lying unconscious next to her on the floor .Raj immediately called for help, they got both of them out the ambulance .. Dr. Aishwairya immediately examined the girl.. she hadn't been injured in the blast .. Payal had lost her balance due to the impact and hit her head on the floor due to which she lost consciousness .. else she was just fine.

Mihir : What were you doing with her in the ambulance Lt. Sahay!!

Vansh: you'll could have died ..

Shlok: let her at least try to explain guys ..

Payal : Thanks Shlok... I am sorry sir but i was trying to take her to a safe location before they could harm her again ..

Naveen: what made you think that they were going to harm her?

Payal : After i left the conference room , i was upset and tried calling my mom .. but the call was interfered due to a cross connection .. two men were talking to each other .. they said that they were going to blow up the place in a few minutes and that no one could save the girl now .. first i freaked out ...then i decided that rather than wasting time in informing you'll, ill just take her out of the base.. but i had only put her in the ambulance when there was a blast .. and you know the rest. I am sorry sir if i crossed the line !

Mihir : You have nothing to be sorry about , you saved the life of one of our own !

Everyone was surprised to hear this coming from Mihir.. before they could say anything Col.Raut came there

Col Raut: Situation is under control now .. we need to find out who did this and why !

Naveen : We already know that sir ...

Saying this he narrated payals story to the Col.

Mihir : we have already stepped into her world sir , this was just an attempt to kill her that left many of our soldiers injured, you still think the IB should handle this ?! This is just the beginning , its not going to be easy but we are ready for this !

Maj.Bhargavi: With your permission sir , we'd like t take responsibility for the girl as well as the case,and also sir , we should move our team's setup to some other location , as whatever happened today can happen again .

Col Raut: I do not doubt your teams capabilities major , its just the HQ is my concern , they'll never give permission for this operation .

Naveen : That's fine sir we'll work as Of duty officers , if this mission succeeds , then well and good , if it fails or we don't survive , you can wipe of our existence from Army records .

Everyone was shocked at Naveen's statement , if their record was wiped of from the army , they'll loose their posts, their jobs everything they've ever done in life will just vanish .. how could they allow that !!!

Before Naveen could say any further ,

Maj. Bhargavi: Sir,I think we'll think about this tonight and tell you our decision tomorrow if that's fine .

Col. Raut: Sure major , Think a 100 times before you decide something , we cannot be impractical and let sympathy cloud our minds (he said eyeing Naveen) .
