There was a very vivid scene in my dream. I was taking the subway to school. However, I was the only one in the entire train and the outside was foggy and held an eerie feel to it. I held on to the pole tightly as my nervousness grew.
Finally after a long ride the train arrived at my stop. I step out and walked to my right towards the staircase. But strangely, even when I was walking the right direction I couldn't see the stairs. Instead, the platform was never ending and fog enveloped around me.

I woke up feeling heavy. It was a bright and sunny morning, contrasting my dream. Speaking of my dream, it was freaky. It sounded like a horror movie scene to me and I hate horror movies. I never liked stepping outside of my comfort zone mainly because I liked feeling safe and close to home. I shake my head off the ridiculous thoughts as I got ready for school.
My parents were rarely home and focused on work. "Its for your good, we're making money so you could go to college." They say to me. Therefore ever since elementary I had to be independent and do things on my own. Not that I am complaining much, but often times I found myself yearning for something more.
I grabbed my backpack and breakfast and walked out the door. As I arrived the train station, the D train had just left. 'Darn', I thought as I walked over to an empty seat on the benches. 'I already woke up later than usual'. I sighed and took out my phone and browsed my social media page. Ten minutes passed and another D train came by. It was packed, but I didn't have a choice since I was going to be late for the my first period class if I didn't board this train. People started to force themselves inside. The crowded train was filled with grunts and discomfort among the passengers including myself. 'Thank goodness my stop isn't that far away.' I thought to myself as the train stopped. I stood there in an awkward position between a few people for a good five minutes before my stop came. I pushed my way out and breathe out. The doors closed on me and I began walking to the stairs.
