I didn't sleep last night.At all.I wasn't tired.I was extremely excited for my first day of work!I still had 2 until work but I got up anyway.I had some coffee and sat down watching out the window as people passed by.When I finished my coffee I decided to go ahead and get dressed so I could get to work early for my first day to give off a good impression.
I put on a regular gray T-shirt and some light jeans.I put on my black heals that looked very good on me if I do say so myself.I put on some light mascara and lipgloss.I left my hair down and didn't have to brush it considering it was naturally curly anyway.By the time there was 30 minutes until work I was ready to go.
I stepped out and started walking down the street just enjoying the scenery.Today was a beautiful day unlike how my mom had described London in the morning.Oh.I tried to shake her off my mind but then I just remembered my Dad too and felt kinda sad.Memories of that day flooded back to me.
"Don't worry, y/n.Your father and I will be back before you know it."
I felt my vision get a bit blurry as tears welled up in my eyes.I wiped them away.As soon as my vision was clear I realized BBC Radio was right around the corner.As I turned the corner I saw Dan and Phil walk in.I jogged a bit across the street to catch up.Phil saw me behind him and smiled.He held the door for me as I walked in.
"Thanks."I said as he walked in behind me.Dan was already out of sight.He was probably in a rush or something."So,I heard Dan and Louise came and busted you the other day.Sorry I didn't come.I was visiting my family.""Oh don't be."I said back.I had felt kinda bad that Phil hadn't come,but now I felt a lot better knowing he was busy.Phil walked me back to the studio.

After a whole day of learning the basics of working at BBC Radio 1,I was exhausted.Dan and Phil had helped me out all day.It made me feel a lot better and forget all about my parents.While I was packing up my things,Dan and Phil came up to me."Hey",they said in fusion.I giggled."So,"Phil said,"we wanted to see if you would like to come over tonight to get to know each other more.It'll be fun!We have Disney Movies!"
I laughed."Of course.Its not like I have anything better to do.I mean it's me,after all."Dan laughed.Phil nudged him with his elbow."Sorry I didn't mean-"I cut him off."No no it's fine.I am laughing worthy."Phil laughed,but Dan just half smiled awkwardly.I kinda felt bad.I hadn't taken any offense from him laughing and yet Phil had made it look bad.I brushed it off as we all started walking home.
