Tony and Amy are inside sitting at a table beside each other.

Around the shows screens with the SHIELD logo. Amy picks up file it saying 'AVENGERS INITIATIVE PREMLIMIARY REPORT'. Nick Fury enters with Anna while Amy looks and stops her from opening it.

Fury sits down looking at them, "I don't think I want you looking at that. I'm not sure it pertains to you two anymore. Now this on the other hand, is Agent Romanoff's assessment of Tony. Read it." Hands Tony the file, but Amy snatches it and starts reading.

Amy reads, "'Personality overview. Mr. Stark displays compulsive behaviour.'"

Tony says in defence, "In my own defence, that was last week. " Fury stares between them serious look on.

Amy continues, "'Prone to self-destructive tendencies.' He was dying. I mean, please. Aren't we all? 'Textbook narcissism'? Agreed. Okay, here it is. 'Recruitment assessment for Avenger Initiative. Iron Man? Yes.'"

Tony also looking in the file as she reads, "I gotta think about it."

Fury nods to Tony, "Read on."

Tony takes the file from Amy and reads, "'Tony Stark not... not recommended'? That doesn't make any sense. How can you approve me but not approve me? I got a new ticker. I'm trying to do right by Anna. With the kid coming and all. I'm in a now stable relationship." Looking at Anna and smiles, her giving a small smile back. Fury stand and walks round and rest against the table by Tony's chair.

Fury tells him, "Which leads us to believe at this juncture we'd only like to use you two as a consultant. And we know about her pregnancy which is why I'm giving her an absent leave from the field and assigning her to not do the heavy lifting." Looks at Anna and gives her a nod and her nodding back in appreciation. Tony stands and offers his hand. They both shake hands.

Tony clasps his other hand on top of Fury's and says, "You can't afford us." Gestures to Amy to stand and they go to leave, but he turns around again, making Amy stop, "Then again, I will little waive my customary retainer in exchange for a small favour. Rhodey and I are being honoured in Washington and we need a presenter."

Fury nods, "I'll see what I can do."

Song: 'Highway To Hell'; Starts to play in the background.

Senator Stern at the stand in front of the media, "It is my honour to be here today to present these distinguished awards to Lieutenant Colonel James Rhodes and Mr. Tony Stark, who is, of course, a national treasure." Fake smiles. He pins a medal on Rhodey, "Thank you Lieutenant Colonel, for such and exceptionally distinguished performance. You deserve this."

Rhodey nods in appreciation, "Thank you, sir."

Stern grabs the second medal, "Mr. Stark. Thank you for such as exceptionally distinguished performance. You deserve this." Tony flinches and winces in pain as he pokes him, fake apologizing to him, "Oh, sorry. Funny how annoying a little prick can be, isn't it? Let's get a photo." Stand in between them, wrapping his arms around their shoulders smiling as the audience clap. Tony raises his arm and gives a peace sign and a camera man runs up and takes a photo of them.
