(You ponder the decision to go on tour with Brendon and the band. After careful consideration you tell him what you decided.)
~Your POV~
My jaw dropped and I stood there in surprise, excitement and all those feelings rolled into one giant ball of happiness. But then I actually thought about it. Would I really abandon my life here to go on tour with Brendon Urie? Would (Y/F/N)? How long would the tour be? So many questions fired through my head, and it showed on my face.
"Hey, are you alright?" He asked.
"Oh, yes. I mean no, I mean, well-"
He sat me down on the couch. "Hey, hey, it's ok. Deep breaths. In, and out." I breathed with him, and calmed down until I could think clearly again.
"Brendon... You have no idea how much this opportunity means to me. I love you and the boys so much, and going on tour with you would make my life," I started to explain.
"So, what's the problem?" He asked, concern and... longing in his eyes.
"I don't know if I can just up and leave my life here. My job, my parents, my friends..."
He lowered his head. "I understand, it's a big decision." I nodded and looked at the floor. "But my offer will always stand. How 'bout for now, I give you my number? We'll take it slow." He gave me a half smile.
"Yeah, that sounds nice. I would really like that. Please come back whenever you can." I said. I didn't mean for that last part to come out sounding so desperate, but he agreed. We both stood up and hugged each other. He was so warm, his skin was smooth, and I couldn't help but trace his shoulder blades with my fingers, causing goosebumps to rise against his skin. He ran his hand through my hair, and I gasped softly. He chuckled, and I felt it resonate in his chest against my cheek.
"I'm going to miss you." He pulled away, and kissed me on the forehead.
Then I was off, out to meet (Y/F/N) in the car, clutching the all access passes close to my aching heart. I got in the passenger's seat and buckled up. "Wellll...?" (Y/F/N) prompted.
"Well..." I told her what happened.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
"There's no reason to yell, calm down."
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" She ranted about how I should've taken the risk and gone on tour, and that it was 'BRENDON FUCKING URIE ARE YOU INSANE YOU TURNED DOWN BRENDON URIE'.
"You know you aren't making me feel any better."
She had calmed down a bit and was only mildly fuming at this point.
"I don't understand (Y/N), what were you thinking?"
"I was thinking about my future. Just dropping everything and running away with a rock star doesn't seem like a very bright future." I said defensively
"Does it really matter how 'bright' your future is? Do you want to look back on life thinking, 'oh yeah my future was pretty bright back then' or do you want to look back on one of the best opportunities that could've ever been dropped in your lap? I mean seriously, I have no idea what got over you." She finished her ramble and started the car.
"I still got his number." I mumbled. She gave me the side-eye,
"Don't start again I swear to god. I don't know if we can still be friends after this." She huffed.
"Oh come on, (Y/F/N). I thought you'd be praising me for thinking of my future. You'd do the same thing if you were in my situation." I pressed.
"You could've had a future with Brendon Urie." She countered. I sighed in defeat.
