I was really shocked at hearing that voice. It was my friend that moved away to Florida about maybe 4 years ago. She rarely calls, texts, or visits. Then Brook said "Hi Flora! I have someone who wants to talk to you."
" Who is it?" Flora said.
"Ember." She said plainly.
"Ember!" She said excitedly
"Hi Flora!" I said.
""Hows it going?"
"Good." Then I whispered to Brook "why did you want me to talk to her?"
She whispered back "I want you to ask her to come down." I nodded and then said to the phone "Hey, Flora how 'bout you come down for a visits sometime...." I paused and looked at Brook, she made a water sentence saying "Next week" "How 'bout next week?"
"Sure, I'd love to visit!" She exclaimed.
"Ok, did you ask your parents?" I asked. There was a long pause Then she answered " Yep, I have asked my parents" she said in a little bit of a shaky voice. I ignored and then I looked at my phone and was shocked "Gotta go home, Sorry." Then Brook hung up the phone and I hopped on my bike and went home.
