Why now?

Waking up

~next day~

Lori woke up to screaming. her and gabe shot out of bed and down the hall to the living room.

"Where the fire?" Gabe said holding up his Batman Baseball bath.

"Really? you're gonna put out a fire with a bat?" Lori asked

Gabe smiled. Lori rolled her eyes and looked at Natalia

"She got batter in my hair!" Cassidy yelled.

"I didn't mean to. This stupid thing was fast." Natalia said shaking the mixer.

Dana came running down the stairs wearing boxers.

"What happened? where's the fire? everyone okay?" he asked holding a pillow.

"Natalia! what happened?" will tripped over the couch and held onto a lamp.

"Cass! where's the fire?" cole asked holding a broom.

"Wow, do you guys really believe you can take out a fire with those things?" Cassidy asked.

The boys looked at each other.

"Yeah." they said in union.

Lori shook her head and helped Cassidy get the batter out of her hair. Natalia finished making the pancakes and everyone sat down to eat. Gabe sat Lori on his lap and held onto her.

"Man, after all these years?" Dalton said coming into the kitchen.

Lori looked up and winked at him.

"Always." she said.

They laughed while everyone looked at them weird. Lori got up to put the dishes into the sink and Gabe followed.

"How did you sleep?" he asked.

"Good, except... there was this guy in my bed. I swear, he was just so.... hmmm what are the words" Lori thought

"Wait your cheating on me?" gabe asked.

She laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Yes batman, I'm cheating on you." Lori said.

Gabe chuckled " and who is this other guy?" he said in a deep voice.

Lori saw everyone watching from the corner of her eye. dalton and Will were pointing at Dana. She smirked and pulled Gabe closer.

"Dana." She whispered in his ear.

"Wait-what?" he pulled away.

She laughed and ran away. Gabe growled and ran after her.

"I'm gonna get you for that" he yelled.

"Good luck with that." she said running to her room and locking the door.

"Open the door." Gabe said.

"No!" Lori laughed.

She pressed her ear against the door. nothing. She reached for the door knob when someone grabbed her from behind. she screamed and hit the person.

"Babe calm down, it's only me." Gabe said dodging her fists.

she turned and hugged him.

"GABE!" She said.

She pulled away and smacked his chest.

"You gave me a heart attack!" she pushed him away.

"I'm sorry." he said laughing.

Lori crossed her arms. Gabe frowned and pulled her closer.

"I really am sorry." he said.

She looked away. He kissed her check and then her ear and moved down to her neck.

"Gabe...." she mumbled.

"Yeah?" he kept kissing her neck.

"S-stop." she closed her eyes.

"What if I don't want to?" He smirked.

Lori pushed a little and he looked at her. He kept his hold on her and smiled.

"You'll regret it." she growled.

"I'll take my chances." he pulled her closer and kissed her.
