Jayden was out walking around his neighborhood late in the afternoon, his mind constantly surrounded by thoughts of the tension his parents had with each other for as long as he can remember as well as the fallout with them which caused them to leave and the fact that the one girl who he secretly adored, as well as his only friend, was leaving him. His sadness was more stronger then it has been for these past few days, as today was Monday, which was supposed to be a good day as he was on spring break. As he was walking through his neighborhood with his hoodie over his head and earbuds over his head listening to Get Scared, he was suddenly stopped by something. It was a hand that grabbed his shoulder while he was walking. This was strange as nobody ever stopped him from his walks around the neighborhood ever. When he turned around, what he saw was the most random thing he had ever seen. It was what appeared to be Supergirl. Supergirl, the very famous cousin of Superman. Jayden took the earbuds out of his ears but before he could speak, the hero spoke first.
Supergirl:Hello.
The girl said with much friendliness in her voice.
Jayden:Hello?
He said with much confusion. Jayden silently observed her head to toe.  From the looks of it, her shaggy blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes made her very attractive. Not that he had just fell for her, it was something he just noticed. What also impressed him was the fact that her outfit looked very similar to Superman except without the abs. After a while, Supergirl spoke again.
Supergirl:Uhh, are you ok?
Jayden:Huh, ohh yeah. So, are you cosplaying for an event?
Supergirl:No, I'm the real deal.
Jayden:Ok. What continuity are you from?
Supergirl:What?
Jayden:Here, Let me explain.
Jayden explained everything to her, the universes, the comics, everything. After Jayden finished his explanation, Supergirl was left in utter shock.
Supergirl:So, I'm just a comic book character?
Jayden:Yeah, pretty much.
Supergirl:Wow.
Jayden:Anyways, my name's Jayden Isaacson, but just call me Jayden.
Supergirl:Ok, well my name's Supergirl, but you can call me that or Kara if you'd like.
Jayden:Cool, would you like to head to my place?
Supergirl:Sure.
Having said that, Kara and her new friend made their way to his house. After they entered Jayden's house, he and Kara made their way to his room. After the bedroom lights were turned on, the two sat on the center side of Jayden's bed.
Jayden:So, can you tell me about yourself?
Jayden asked, removing the hood from his hoodie to reveal his messy light brown hair.
Supergirl:Well, I was born on Krypton and when I was like four or five, my mom sent me to my Earth to look after my infant cousin Kal. But, something malfunctioned in my ship and caused my body and mind to fall asleep for a while. When I crashed on Earth, I was eventually found by Kal, who was already grown up and was Superman by then. When he found me, he took me in, taught me how to use my powers, and I eventually became Supergirl. Soon after, I joined The Justice League even though I never really thought about joining. It became very stressful for me as I had to act like somebody deep down I wasn't and I made mistakes. My relationship between Kal and I wasn't perfect as I felt that he had high expectations for me as well as Diana. Well, one day-
Kara held her breath before she could respond.
Jayden:It's ok, you can tell me.
Jayden rubbed her back and stopped as soon as Kara began to find the words about what happened between her and her cousin.
Kara:I just snapped. I yelled at him. He was scolding me for a mistake I made against Mirror Master. I know I may have died, but that's what heroes do. I tried to explain that to him and I knew what I was doing but he wouldn't hear it. We were having a shouting match in front of New York and I just couldn't take it anymore. I swung my fist at him and I gave him a really black eye. After that, I screamed that I hated him. Then, I just stormed off and made my way to some mountain where I was just processing what was happening and then just as I was about to leave, everyone's favorite mentor Wonder Woman found me and we had another argument, this time it was about what happened and what I did. We yelled at each other for a while and we even hit each other. It was the last straw for me as I decided to leave my Earth and never come back. Later, I ended up here somehow where I met you just today. One heck of a day for me, huh? One minute, I was arguing with Diana and the other I'm in someone else's room, speaking to a boy my age I just met.
Kara chuckled sarcastically as Jayden sighs.
Jayden:Yeah.
Kara:Something wrong?
Jayden:Well, I know how it feels to have those issues.
Jayden said as he laid down on his bed.
Jayden:My parents were constantly fighting over who knows what. However, on the surface, they seemed like a very decent couple, at least in everyone's mind. I did a lot to block them out, mostly because I was focused on my passion, which is drawing. Besides that, The only other thing that was constantly on my mind that kept me from being sad all the time was my friend Bella, scratch that, my only friend and dream girl Bella. One day, I lashed out at my folks on Friday during dinner, during one of their many "disagreements". When I got back from my walk to blow off some steam, they were gone. I don't know where they are, but honestly, I don't care. That's not even the worst of it. Just yesterday, Bella called me and told me that she and her aunt were permanently moving from Seattle to Oregon and that she liked me too. So yeah, that was the perfect start of my spring break.
Jayden said as he continued laying on his bed
Kara:Wow, and I thought my issues were bad.
Jayden:It's alright.
Kara suddenly got up from the bed as a light bulb flashed over her head.
Kara:How about we do something to make you feel better?
Jayden:What's that?
He asked as he sat up.
Kara:How about we sit on your roof and talk more?
Jayden:Ok.
Kara:Meet you there.
Kara said with a wink as she sped to the roof of his house. Jayden, unsure but curious, made his way to the roof where his new friend was waiting for him.
