There had been these boys, three to be exact and what a coincidence they all had the same annoyingly painful habit of taking my heart and giving it back looking and feeling worse than before, kinda like a public library book .

I was convinced that all the guys in the world wanted to mess with my feelings in every way possible, make me feel like my heart was going to shatter and i would fall to the ground lifelessly. Lucky for me i have Bentley Wilson, she's been my best friend sense seventh grade and is probably the only person i can trust when she says the everything will be alright. She had told me that i was acting weak that i let those boys get to me, that they where just dumb boys and the right guy wouldn't be stupid enough to hurt me , not on purposes at least. She's right, it is stupid of me to be sitting here acting all depressed about three idiotic boys, when i could be out with friends or even hanging out with family.

"Hey, Hallie?" My little brother Stem came in asking for my attention. "what do you want?" i know it may sound like i'm mean to him, and i would never admit this to anyone, but he's my favorite sibling out off the three i have. He doesn't whine and he knows boundaries. "Can you take me to the baseball game tonight ?" Baseball, baseball sounded like a good get away, and maybe i could hang out with some friends. "sure, what time?" He looked at me in shock. I assumed he was surprised i said yes as he stuttered "oh, um it starts in an hour". I nodded my head to him. "okay ill be ready in a little." I jumped up of my bed as he rushed out of the room shutting the door behind him.

After about thirty minutes i had successfully thrown my hair up into a ponytail, put a hat on along with a baseball tee, skinny jeans, and some converse. I yelled to stem "okay lets go!!" He came running out of his room phone in hand and ready to leave.

When we got to the stadium stem hoped out of the car and ran to some of his friends. I walked in right after them and spotted an open table with a good view of the field.

"Hey,Hallie!!" I was so focused on the game that i jumped when a deep voice sounded from behind me followed by a bone crushing bear hug. I turned around to see Austin Lee, one of my good friends, and behind him was someone I've never seen before, but would be very okay with seeing him more often.

He was ,oh whats the word perfect, he had green eyes almost emerald like, followed by some cute freckles along the bridge of his nose. Oh,but when he spoke, when he spoke all i heard were angels. "Hi, I'm Easton fay." He gave the most charming smile ever as he introduced him self. "I'm Hallie Grace, it's nice to meet you... So are you new to town or... Before i was able to finish Austin cut in. "No, actually he's my cousin and decided to visit for the summer." Well thanks for that Austin, i could of heard Easton say all of that in is god like voice, but no! Instead i heard it in your all to familiar redneck accent. " Oh, really? well, fun fun."

Fun, fun is something i say when i'm nervous , and right now i feel like saying it a million times over and over again. "Yea, well it's funny actually when Austin was telling me about all his friends in Enid he failed to mention the cute girl named Hallie Grace." Wow.. Did those words really just come out of his mouth? I let out a laugh. "A little cheesy there. Don't you think?" He laughed back gave me a side ways grin and shrugged his shoulders. "Yea, I took a risk there, but you still laughed. Didn't you?"He's right even if it was a small laugh he still managed to get one out of me. Well, i guess you got me then. Smooth move ."

I had been getting along with Easton so well that i almost forgot that Austin was still here."Um... Well, this is awkward i feel like a third wheel." Austin said trying to get Easton and I's attention away from each other and onto him. Easton simply smiled and rolled his eyes. "It's only awkward for you and you kinda are a third wheel."We all shared a laugh talked some more and said our goodbyes. At the end of the night Easton left me wanting more and lucky me , i had all summer.
