Chapter 16🍃

(y/n)'s pov

"Do I look alright?" Josh asks me stepping out into the living room where I was watching rick and morty. I examined his outfit, black jeans ripped at the knees grey hoodie and vans.

"You look alright I guess" I shrug my shoulders. His expression faltered.

"I'm just kidding you look frickin amazing" I say getting off the couch to walk to him.

"Thanks babe." He smiles making his eyes crinkle up.

"And your interview will be fine. Tyler is there and I'll be waiting here for you to come back home" I smile back.

"Thanks again, I love you and I'll see you later" he hugs me and kisses the top of my head.

"I love you too, have fun" I wave to him as he walked out the door. I sigh and lay back down on the couch.

The last few months were crazy. Josh's birthday, Tour De Columbus and the 4th of July. Even though every day of it was a blast and I had so much fun I've been so exhausted. And so has Josh.

To stop from my random rambling I browsed through twitter. Most of the pictures were cute kitties or cute pictures Josh. But a few articles caught my attention.

'Is Jebby back?'

'Are Josh Dun and Kailey Cost really dating?'

Josh's pov

"Hello everyone! today we have twenty one pilots here with us!" The lady said in her microphone.

"Hey guys thanks for coming"

"Thanks for having us" Tyler said.

"So Tyler, how's you and your wife?" She asked.

"Jenna and I are doing great. We moved a little bit ago which is cool." He smiled and nodded.

"Oh yeah I heard about that" She responded.

"Josh how have you been?" She asked me.

"I've been amazing!" I smiled.

"That's great how was your birthday?"

"It was fun I hung out with Tyler Jenna and (y/n) we ate out and lit fireworks"

"(Y/n)? Your new girlfriend?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Yes." I nodded.

"Do you like Josh's new girlfriend Tyler?" She switched her gaze from me to Tyler.

"(Y/n) is really cool and fun to hang around. Of course I like her" he patted my back. I laughed with him.

"I heard some rumors that Debby and you were seeing each other. Is this true?" She asked me.

"That's most definitely not true. Debby and I are just friends. (Y/n) is the only girl I'm seeing" I tried to explain.

"What about Kailey Cost? I heard some rumors about her too"

"Kailey is a old friend that's really it" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Maybe we should get off the girlfriend topic?" Tyler said trying to change the subject.

"Okay. How's the new album coming along?"

"I'm so glad that's over" I said over to Tyler who was now driving me back home.

"Same" he nodded eyes still focused on the road.

"I think you need to talk to (y/n)" Tyler spoke up after a few minutes of silence.

"About what?" I asked turning my head to Tyler.

"The whole Debby and Kailey thing. She might get the wrong idea" Tyler shrugged.

"Maybe I should" I sighed looking out the window. I'm not sure really what to tell her. Maybe I'll tell her i don't see Debby or Kailey in that way at all and she is the only women I love. my phone started vibrating in my pocket.

"hello?" I answered quickly not recognizing the number.

"Hey is this Josh?" A girl on the other end asked.

"who is asking?" I asked with caution thinking someone leaked my phone number.

"this is kailey" She exclaimed in the phone.

"Oh hey kailey yeah it's me" I sighed with relief but I could feel Tyler's burning gaze on the side of my head.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go get coffee this weekend to catch up" She explained.

"Um yeah sure"

"cool I'll text you the details see ya"

"bye" I hung up.

"So um we're here" Tyler said parking his car in my drive way.

"oh, thanks Ty. do you want to come inside to say hi to (y/n)?" I asked trying to clear the tension in the car.

"No thanks Jenna will want me home but tell her I said hi" he smiled apologetically.

"That's okay I'll see you later then" I said unbuckling and opening the car door.

"Yeah bye josh" he waved as I shut the car door and jogged my way to the house.

when I walked in the house it smelt of lavender and it was very tidy. I could hear soft music coming from the hallway. I smiled to myself.

"(y/n)?" I asked.

"yes?" She popped out of my bedroom.

"there you are" I smiled and walked my way to her and kissed the top of her head.

"How was the interview?" She asked as I stepped into my room noticing all the piles of neatly folded clothes now on the bed.

"slow and boring. what did you do while I was gone" I asked sitting on the bed.

"I cleaned the living room and kitchen and also did some laundry we were in desperate need of clean clothes" She smiled showing all her teeth.

"Thank you" I smiled back.

"What are we doing tonight?" She asked handing me my pile of clean clothes.

"movies?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"yes we can go to a red box and get la la land I've been dying to watch it" She smiled and picked up a pile of clothes and setting them in my dresser.

"sweet let's go then" I said grabbing her hand.

sorry this is lame but I'm trying to plan the rest of this book ++ school started and my anxiety is out of control. and my stomach has been acting weird idk what's up :/ anyway vote and comment of you want to :))
I'm thinking of making a Josh dun fanfic would anybody read it???
