Twilight Velvet is Twilight's mum. She is very supportive and signed the contract so that Twilight could go to the school of gifted unicorns. She was there when Twilight had to do her entrance exam to cheer her on. She was also at Twilight's coronation with her husband Night Light. She lives in Canterlot.
